Cool Girl Hair by Sam McKnight

on

If you find that styling your hair is a nightmare, then welcome. You’ve come to the right place. I have been struggling with my hair my entire life. When I was young, my hair was not straight enough and now I wish I had my curls back. Such is the life.

Now my hair is so straight and so boring and to be frank, it does not advantage me in any way. For that reason, I often try new hair products to improve both the quality of my hair which is not too bad (luckily!), but also to give my hair some body, some volume. Basically, I want it to be clear that I did made an effort, but without making much one as I really suck at doing up my hair nor do I find it super easy to use a curler or anything or the sort. My arm mobility is not what it used to be…. long story.

Like I said in the beginning, if you an easy way to achieve some great looks, then you’ve come to the right place. The 4th products from the Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar can help you achieve just that.

Cool Girl Barely There Texture Mist
Cool Girl Barely There Texture Mist

Cool Girl Barely There Texture Mist is an a life saving product. This products helps you achieve those effortless tousled hair looks. It worked perfectly well when I had short hair, chin length hair and it works even now that I have just below shoulder length hair.

The Cool Girl Texture Mist gives my hair volume thus making it seem like I did do something to my hair and it does not leave a residue. This makes it easy to apply and dash when in a hurry. However, the scent is not great and it takes a moment for it to disappear, but not quite vanish.

The spray can also be used when your hair is not super clean, if you wish to add some texture so that the oily parts are not as visible. It does not replace dry shampoo, but adds a little bit more to it or you can use it instead if you hate dry shampoo. I found that the spray does not affect my scalp in the same way as dry shampoo does.

The textured effect lasts quite a bit, but I found that you might need to reapply the mist as the effects are less long lasting in wet weather. In London, reapplication is a must, but that goes for many products really, not just this one.

Overall, Cool Girl by Sam McKnight texture spray is an interesting product and I totally recommend it. It is super easy to use and it makes me love my hair more without having to put to much effort.
