With the new year just one day away, I decided it was time to share with all of you my resolutions for the next year.
Surprisingly, most if not all my resolutions for 2019 are somehow related to personal growth and change. This is all due to the fact that 2018 has been an incredibly difficult year and I know that it is not quite over, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that nothing else will happen in the few hours remaining. Enough has happened already, most of which I did not even see coming.
2018 has truly thrown me for a loop and made me lose my footing. It started well, but it quickly worsened. However, the last few days have been somewhat better so I am keeping my hopes up. Scratch that. I am going to do whatever to ensure that 2019 will be better and that starts with working on my resolutions and not giving up. So without further ado, in 2019 I hope that I can finally focus on my ‘why’ and not let any distractions allow me to forget why I am doing the things I am doing. Luckily, I do know what my why is, so one part of the process is over, but I need to keep it at the front of my mind.
Focusing on my ‘why’ is mostly it actually. The reason for this is because the ‘why’ is related to everything else. It is like the overarching umbrella that protects all the other things I want to achieve. My ‘why’ is also an integral part of who I am and I hope that if I remember what that is, I can also remember more often who I am. It sounds like crazy talk, no? Hope not!
Enough about me. What are your resolutions for 2019?
