I know that the title can seem a bit weird to some of you, but do read what I have to say as this article can definitely change the way you shop. Well, it can change the way you shop the Kate Somerville brand at least.
Kate Somerville has now been available in the UK for one year, give or take. I was doing my masters at the time so it was definitely sometime during the 2017/2018 academic year.
I was really excited when it launched as I heard many great things about the brand. I wanted to get my hands on the products right away so I went onto google and searched for stockists, but I was really early. I was a bit too early and instead of finding Cult Beauty or Space.NK which now stock the products, I ended up on the Kate Somerville website. Best thing ever!
Where should you shop for the Kate Somerville products?
I am going to say this once and for all. You should definitely not shop for KS on the website of any stockist. I am not saying to never do this as there might be some offers going on or even a goody bag so you can spend towards getting that gift, but normally I advice against it.
You should shop the way I did, on the brand’s actual website.
Why should you shop on the Kate Somerville website?
The answer is pretty simple. You will get way more value if you shop directly. No, the prices are not different than on the stockists website. That is not it.
However, the Kate Somerville website has so many offers going on each month that it would be a shame to miss out on them.

All of these offers are no longer available, but they were all part of campaigns that ran throughout the month of March 2019.
The first one was a gift with purchase – if you purchased the full size ExfoliKate cleanser you would get a travel size version. The travel size version was pretty generous!
The second offer presented here was the March edit box which included three products from the goat milk collection. You could have gotten these products at a discount.
The last offer included is also a gift with purchase where you could have gotten he products featured – three travel size products worth £46 when you made a purchase of over £40.
You cannot tell me that these offers are not great! I know that these are past offers, but the thing is that the brand has something similar going on every single month. You don’t find these on stockist websites. You can find some offers even now on the website.

When shopping straight from the source, you also get loyalty points. And on top of that, you also get some 3 samples.

Overall, you get way more value for your buck if you purchase the Kate Somerville products directly from the source.
I am grateful that I found out this when I placed my first order as I haven’t looked back.
I got the EradiKate Blemish Treatment and the Cleanser from the same collection and received the ExfoliKate full sized cleanser worth £32 as a gift on my first order. However, I think I only need to get one cleanser to get one for free. It has been a while.
I have nothing against stockists. You know that I purchase lots of products all the time and from all sort of places. However, if you can get more value for your money and I know about it I am going to share it with you as that is how I also get my products whenever possible.
