Natasha Denona Bronze and Glow Duo

I have been meaning to try Natasha Denona for ages. I have been lusting for some of the palettes, but could never justify the purchase. Not with my level of expertise when it comes to applying eyeshadow and not with the amount of times I actually use such products. However, Cult Beauty were kind enough to include one of the products from the brand in their beauty advent calendar in the second drawer.

Here are my thoughts.

Bronze and Glow Duo Review

The product, just as the name suggests, comes with two pans – one for the highlighter and one for the bronzer. Both products are soft but not super creamy and the pigmentation is also pretty great. This much can be noticed as soon as you swatch the product.

The shades of both products are really pretty and they can be used on a variety of skin tones and colours as far as I can tell. While they might not work for all, they do reach an extended range, I believe. The shades are not too light, but not too dark either and you can adjust the intensity of the colour slightly depending on your application method and tool.

The product is small and easy to travel with. You get everything to need to take your makeup a step further even when on the go which I love. The ability to travel with a product, without it becoming an inconvenience, is really important, as far as I am concerned.

Despite all of this, I honestly do not get the fuss around Natasha Denona. I am sorry, but I do not. The Bronze and Glow Duo is a very luxurious product. That much is obvious from the packaging and pigmentation as well as feel of the product. I cannot say that it does not apply well and that this particular product is also travel friendly which is really great. But, I also think that just as the quality, the product is overall a luxury. That means that this product is nice to have but nowhere near a must have.

Overall, I liked the product, but I do not think this is the best product of its kind that you can find on the market. There are other options available should you look for them. I want to try more products from the brand and understand better why the love for the brand, but so far I don’t get the fuss.

I do recommend this Bronze and Glow Duo from Natasha Denona. However, if you find this product to be too expensive, worry not. There are many other options that are just as great on the market.
