What do you need to do in order to qualify for the Cult Beauty Summer 2020 Goody Bag?

Before this offer from Cult Beauty launched, I was really excited and had every intention of getting it. It has been a long while since I got any goody bags. In fact, I have not gotten any at all this year which is a first for me. Okay, not really a first, but it has not happened since I discovered the magic of goody bags that is for sure. I might have skipped one here or there, but I usually got one each season. It being my birthday month, I was even more excited about the prospects of getting my hands on such an offer.

The only thing is that I have tried so many of them already. So that is a bit disappointing. Now I do have some doubts whether to get this self care goody bag or not. My list is way longer than this and it contains some products that have yet to be released but also some products that I have been meaning to get since they came out earlier this year. Unfortunately, I could not include those products for obvious reasons – they are not available. Some are not available because they have not been released while others are out of stock due to the current situation. The one product I am most disappointed by is the Sol de Janeiro haircare range which is something I wanted for so long and yet it is out of stock. It is what it is.

Ah, I was so waiting and now I’m leaning towards a pass. The only product I really want to try is only the Sol de Janeiro Coco Cabana cream which you said is best to smell first. The rest aee cool things but half of it I’ve tried or have in stock, the 3 makeup items would be sooo superfluous in my stash and the rest I don’t need or don’t want to try like the glycolic acid pad. So much for yesterday’s hype 😉
I know what you mean. I really thought they would push it, especially now. But I guess that even brands do not want to spend on marketing at this time so they don’t offer as many sample sizes to retailers such as Cult Beauty. I am quite curious to read some reports on this and how the pandemic has affected the retail sector. I would have thought that Cult Beauty would be motivated to offer more value to increase sales. There will be other occasions.
I noticed a difference in a promotional offer on Cult Beauty, a year ago it was 3 mini face oils from Herbivore with a £50 purchase, and recently for the same threshold was a gift of 1 mini face oil.
I would be curious to read such a report too. I assume factories have been impacted and overall logistics too, also the spending habits might be shifted right now. I read that clothing sales dropped so much that some companies observe a 90% drop! On the other hand I read that in the USA during a crisis sales of luxurious lipsticks skyrocketed.
That is usually the case as lipstick is the most affordable luxury item. It is quite specific of financial crises even though now it is a bit strange as it is not like you can wear a lipstick or have a need for one when wearing a face mask 😷
