Okay and now some of my thoughts. You all know that I loved last year’ edition (review of the 2019 Holland and Barrett Beauty Advent Calendar here) It was my first ever beauty advent calendar from Holland and Barrett and I believe my second ever purchase from them. However, despite not knowing whether I would have any use for some of the products, I was pleasantly surprised. Also, the calendar introduced me to the first ever Vit C serum that I actually loved!

Let’s go back to this year’s contents though. The calendar contains a nice range of clean beauty and lifestyle products. The products I am most excited about are the ones from Ethique if I am being honest. I have been obsessed with the brand ever since I first discovered it. I have made a few purchases, but did not get the chance to try out the products as current events put a bit of a dent in my plans… There is just something about the brand that truly intrigues me and I would definitely want to try out more stuff from them. However, I spotted a few other gems hidden in this calendar which I would love to try.

The Holland and Barrett Beauty Advent Calendar is an affordable beauty advent calendar that provides significant value and most of all, appeals to a wider audience than most advent calendars. If you want to grab your very own advent calendar, you will have to move fast. I am sure that this one will sell out fast.

  1. I got it 🙂 and will use every single item except for the mirror because I already have one. This one is cheap and has a low value compared to other calendars but I think I’m the most excited about this one 🙂

  2. I got 3: Fortnum’s, LookFantastic and this one.
The Fenwick one doesn’t spark joy, I liked the last year’s edition better. Few high end calendars look nice but I don’t feel like spending this much, and there are some GWPs ahead that might be cool as well. And the SkinCity calendar is yet to be revealed (hopefully!), I’m curious about that one.So far the Christmas offer is not that appealing to me but maybe it’s for the best.Although the most offers come out in October so who knows.

    What about you?

    1. I am looking forward to GWP as well and also the SkinCity advent calendar and perhaps the BeautyExpert one. I am sad that Marks and Spencer won’t release one. I wanted the Fortnum one but the items are too similar to what I got last year from various calendars which I still haven’t used. I am still thinking about the Liberty and Cult Beauty one. Even though I know that logically Cult Beauty makes little sense. Net a Porter might also be an option. I am drafting the post so will post soon. I was waiting for the entire list of products to be released. Have you seen the Net a Porter Beauty Essential bags?

      1. The NaP calendar is one of those that looks appealing to me but not for its proce. I saw the bags but it’s not really the products I use or need.
Last year I thought the Fortnum’s one was the weakest calendar from the ones I got but in hindsight it was my favourite. This year my lineup is more versatile so I’ll see what I will like best eventually.
I’m wondering about the Liberty one too, or The Other Liberty if they make one this year too.
And I’m curious about the Cult Beauty winter GWP since the calendar is not for me. On a separate note (because the CB calendar has two blushes), today I hit pan on my go-to blush. Since it is a mini maybe I will actually finish it this year (and move on to the Nars duo from a last year’s calendar…)

      2. Good Luck! I know that I will never manage to hit pan on a blush, maybe on the Beauty Pie which is the first blush I ordered and not received and that is if I use it as a lip tint or for my eyes. Blushes are definitely not a product for me. Also, it feels amazing to hit pan or what? 😅
