I really love this goody bag and am super tempted. There are a few products here that annoy me to no end. I dislike most mascaras so two is a tad much for my taste. I also find lip products useless these days and since they are full size it makes me think that this is a stock dump which is upsetting, to say the least.
Otherwise, I really love the fact that the products included are new for the most part. We are finally seeing something fresh in these gifts. It was time! This year, I feel like we have seen more of the same over and over again. Things might be changing moving forward which would be great. This is actually one of the reasons why I am so tempted to get this even though I know I should not. It is so not the time! Plus, there is also the fact that I am feeling more or less the same as I did when I got my first ever gift from Cult Beauty and that is not a good reason… long story.
Leaving all of that aside, my more objective analysis does tell me that this gift has significantly more potential than most others we have seen so far this year.
What to buy if unsure?
There is a lot of choice at the moment, You could do your Christmas shopping by having a look at the Christmas section which if full of gift sets. There is also this series of gift sets which are all 80% or so savings so you can get even more value for your money.

I was looking forward to it but seeing the contents I’m not inspired. I’m so put off by Huda gem obsessions pallettes. None of them would be wearable for me. Not the last year’s and this year’s topaz and ruby and not the emerald here. I also don’t need two mascaras and two full size lip products and a ton of resurfacing / exfoliating products 😉 It’s a relief because I probably wouldn’t be disciplined enough to curb my spending (which I totally need doing!).
I regret a bit I didn’t buy the skin care gift for 45 GBP, it’s sold out now. I was hoping I could maybe get the boxes and the GWP but that would be too good to be true 😉
Sorry to hear that you did not manage to get it! Yeah, I was thinking about doing the same but got the skincare box first and hoped for the rest. I really want the gift as this one has the most products I really want to try from all the gifts they released this year, but I won’t get it. I have been bad enough this year already, plus just got the Oh My Cream advent calendar. There are a lot of limited edition boxes being released in the near future as well as Black Friday Offers and then Boxing Day so better to spread out the purchases a little bit 😉 as for the palette, I have two of them and they were pretty meh. Not that blendable actually. However I always wanted a green palette that perhaps stays green when applied. I would not buy it so this would have been a great opportunity for me to try it. But waiting for the next. Also, a new gift with purchase coming up tomorrow 🙃stay tuned.
I’m so looking forward to your review of Oh My Cream. Both the shopping experience and the calendar. I’m so tempted by the calendar but I’m trying to avoid any new make-up items because I have trouble giving it away and using it up myself – my friends and family don’t wear bronzers, highlighters or lot of red lip. Some don’t wear make-up at all, and those who do usually have their stash.
Ah, staying tuned for the gift!
But yeah, with Black Friday soon I’ll probably have options to choose from.
