Are you kidding me? Is there really no brand left on this planet that has not released a beauty box? I mean, I love them despite some reservations I have regarding a potential stock dump (which we have not really talked about yet, but we should and we will). However, no one can launch anything else these days? Maybe just switching the box with a different kind of storage/container and I would still appreciate it a bit more, you know? No matter. I might just be willing to overlook a few things (who? me?! never, but still..) when they good as interesting as this new beauty box from Violet Grey. Have you seen it? Have a look, if not.

As you probably guessed already, this box is a luxurious one and the price, but also the value are up to par. The beauty box from Violet Grey is priced at $375 and it has a value of $791.

I cannot say that I am overly impressed, haven’t you heard? I do not do that anymore. However. I am close to being impressed, the closest I have been in months now. Not only does this beauty box scream luxurious, but it also contains some favourite products of mine as well as others I am more than curious to try.

I haven’t tried that many products included in this box, but the ones I have tried are pretty great. I won’t go into too much detail here, but Royal Fern is now a brand that I have on my wishlist and that I cannot believe I did not know about earlier. Their Skin Perfecting Essence is a very convenient and useful product. You can read the full review here. Even though I have not worn makeup in ages, Westman Atelier is one of the few brands that made it on the list. I recently tried their Lit Up Highlight Stick and I loved the quality and the way it felt on the skin. The one I have is in a different shade, I am not quite sure about the shade included in this box, but if you want to read more about the product you can do so here. It is a product I cannot see myself buying outside of an offer though. Then, there are the masks from 111Skin. This is a brand I came across often and quite ignored which I now realise it was a huge mistake on my part. There is definitely something there worth exploring and the de-puffing mask is one of their most iconic products. I only used one such mask before so I won’t comment on it here, but it left a good first impression. Once I use up the rest, I will make sure to share a full length review.

The Augustinus Bader Cream is also a great product, but one I have some personal issues with. I will talk about that at some other time, but let’s just say that the brand has a small issue I encountered with each of their products which make me not want to purchase their products despite them being quite good. Let’s just say that their shelf life is one of the worst ones ever. I could not leave you completely hanging now, could I?

As for the rest of the products, I have not tried them yet. I have been curious to try Koh Gen Do for a while now, but never came across the brand anywhere in store. I am happy to see pure cotton sheets included as I really love such products and yet they are not super popular yet. And of course, Susanne Kaufmann. Is there anything else I could even add here? It is just one of the best skincare brands out there!

Overall, I really like this beauty box from Violet Grey. There is no reason to keep on pointing that out. However, the price tag… ouch. I would go for this box, but for like a major holiday or special event at least now when the stock market is going down or through a correction. I decided I do not want to know. I am not at the point where I am ready to stick my head into the sand, but close. I do hope that some of you will decide to take advantage of this offer, as the box is really, really nice. *wink.
