Comments

I know that now you might wish you would have waited before purchasing the previous one, but then again, one can never have too many beauty products. Okay, you totally can, but when you are as obsessed with these products as I am, it is very debatable *wink. Okay, seriously now.

The new beauty kit from Liberty looks quite good. I love seeing that they finally included a different kind of makeup bag, I am referring to size here. This type of makeup bag or vanity bag or whatever the heck you want to call it, is my favourite type of bag. It is very convenient and you can also hang it up if need be.

In terms of the products themselves, I do not have that many comments on this occasion (argh, I wish I did as you all know just how much I like commenting on every single thing). I like the overall look of this kit and that Liberty started including some other brands as well. Of course, there are still quite a few Liberty to go to beauty brands included such as Malin+Goetz, Augustinus Bader or Dr Sebagh (no one can ever have too much Dr Sebagh in their life!), but there are some Liberty brands (brands I associate with Liberty at least) such as Claus Porto that have made past appearances, but that are not as commonly seen in their kits, boxes, or advent calendars.

In terms of the products I actually used from this kit, you have the Slip Skinny Hair Tie which I do like, but would not purchase on its own. You can read my full review of that product here. And then, you have the Rich Cream from Augustinus Bader which I also like, but I am convinced that the product is not worth purchasing. Seeing it more and more often included in such offers only strengthens that belief. The Cream feels nice on the skin, even on my oily skin it worth most of the time. However, I am not convinced that despite the effectiveness, it is worth the price. Plus, I found that AB products have incredibly short shelf lives, shorter than indicated on the containers, at least from my experience.

Oh, I completely forgot as it was an unexpected addition to this kit – the Wet Brush. This product had a huge exposure a few years back, but fell into the background recently which is a shame. Personally, I am a fan and even purchased a new brush from them last weekend. The more I use them, the more I appreciate their value.

Overall though, I like the kit and would like to give it a go. There are a few product I have not tried before and some that I have and liked, but would not purchase on their own. The price/value ratio is pretty great as well. So yes, this is a kit I would purchase.

  1. I saw this today and thought at first, oh no maybe a bigger and better one has just been released! Then I took a more in depth look and glad I bought the other recent one… this looks good, but I already have the AB cream and some of the products don’t excite me as much lol. I do love Slip silk hair ties and Decree is good. Btw I prefer the Big Night In kit the most, but the 5 Minutes kit arrived yesterday – I’m sure I will use all the products. All I’ve tried so far is the Neom hand cream and foot lotion, hand cream smells amazing. Will update 😊
