LuisaViaRoma Beauty Kits

Today I back with not one, but several new beauty kits. While I had something else planed for today, I received this great tip so I decided to go with it (thank you so much J.!). I was intrigued! I haven’t talked about LuisaViaRoma on its own on this platform, but maybe it is time to change that. Trying new retailers can be scary, but life is all about adventure. It keeps things interesting.

Okay, let’s see what the beauty kits from LuisaViaRoma are all about. Find out more below.

Comments

While I cannot comments on any of these products directly, I am familiar with some of the brand. I have used several products from Malin+Goetz in the past and I have been pleasantly impressed each and every time. I am hopeful this product won’t disappoint either.

MZ Skin is also a pretty good brand. At least, it has some good products and some not so good products. Their CBD line is one I did not get along with at all and the fact that they even allowed spelling mistakes on their packaging… I can’t even. Yes, I am sure my products were legit as they were from Harvey Nichols which only makes it worse. On the other hand, their lift line has some pretty good products so fingers crossed this one in the kit is one of the good ones.

Oh, Rahua…You can read the review of the classic shampoo here.

I have’t tried the other products, but I am more than curious to do so. Overall, I like the look of this kit, but I haven’t decided yet which one if my favourite. Let’s see what the rest of them have in store first, shall we?

The Clean & Sustainable Edit

  • Tata Harper – Regenerating Cleanser 50ml – RRP €42
  • Anne Semonin – The Daily Musts Coffret Masks 10gr – RRP €59
  • U Beauty – Resurfacing Compound 15ml – RRP €79
  • Aman – Nourishing Silk Cocoon Face Cream 46gr – RRP approx. €128
  • Dr. Barbara Sturm – Eye Cream 15ml – €120

The Clean and Sustainable Edit is a bit pricier than the previous one. This beauty kit is priced at €128 and has a value of €428. This kit also represents a 71% saving and is available for purchase here.

Comments

Okay, so this kit is definitely better than the previous one. Not only you get the Tata Harper Cleanser is is a pretty great cleanser (you can read my review of it here), but you get some additional skincare goodies that have been making the rounds in every beauty guru’s cabinets lately. One such product is the U Beauty Resurfacing Compound. I cannot comment on it personally as mine is still waiting its turn, however everyone seems to promote it heavily. This kinda makes me wonder…. also, I recently used and reviewed their other product – the Smart Hydrator and my opinion of it was not exactly great, to put it bluntly. However, not everyone’s experience is the same and this is still occasion to try the high-end, not really affordable product without making the investment.

The kit also contains the eye cream from Dr Barbara Sturm. I found that the brand’s products are quite good, eve if a bit overpriced. I do not recall ever trying this particular product so I won’t comment on it, but I do have high hopes for this one.

The rest of the products I have not tried nor have I ever hard of them, but I am definitely intrigued. Overall, I am genuinely intrigued by this kit. If it were not for the Tata Harper Cleanser and the U Beauty Resurfacing Compound (which I already have several of), I would actually get this kit. I believe it provides more value than the Wellness one, at least for me. Do think of your personal circumstances, the products you have and the products you need before making the decision though.

The Detox & Glow Beauty Kit

  • Irene Forte – Age Defying Almond Cleansing Milk 200ml – RRP €77
  • 111Skin – Rose Gold Brightening Facial Mask – RRP €25
  • Grown Alchemist – Detox Serum 30ml – RRP €49
  • Dr. Barbara Sturm – Face Cream Light 50ml – RRP €145
  • Kjaer Weis – Radiance Highlighter – RRP €49
  • By Nacht Iconic Reborn Radiant Serum Travel Size 15ml – RRP €105

The Detox & Glow Beauty Kit is priced at €128 but has a value of €450. This kit represents a 72% saving and is available for purchase here.

Comments

This comments section will probably be the shortest of these four. I have only used the 111Skin mask from the above products and it is a good quality product, but definitely overpriced. However, it is still quite okay versus some other high end skincare sheet masks. It is a product I enjoy using and love how it leaves my skin looking, but not sure I would purchase it on its own.

I have not tried any of the other products, but I am super curious. Let’s take the Radiance Highlight for example. This product has been on my wishlist for what feels like years now.

The Anti-Ageing & Plumping Beauty Kit

  • Royal Fern – Phytoactive Cleansing Balm 200ml – RRP €85
  • Dr. Barbara Sturm – Hyaluronic Ampoules – seven glass ampoules each with 2ml – RRP €125
  • Augustinus Bader – The Cream 15ml – RRP €75
  • Anne Semonin – Eye Express Radiance Ice Cubes – six 4ml ice cube packs – RRP €58
  • Bobbi Brown – Mini Smoky Eye Mascara – RRP approx €8

The Anti-Ageing & Plumping Beauty Kit is priced at €109 and has a value of €351 and as such it represents a 69% saving. The kit is available for purchase here.

Comments

This is the last kit and they seem like each one is better than the last, no? In terms of products, I have not tried all of them, but I will do my best to tell you a little something about each or at least about the brands. When it comes to Royal Fern, I have only used one of their products and it impressed me. You can read my review of their Essence here. This is a brand that made a great first impression and I have bene looking try more from them ever since. It is truly a luxurious brand, at least that is my impression.

Once again, w e have dr. Barbara Sturm which I sort of like. There are products and products, but for the most part they are good. However, I did notice that the deluxe sized products might not have the same quality as the full sized ones. So if that is is your experience as well, then you might want to give the brand another go. In terms of hyaluronic acid, I used the HA serum from the brand and I loved it. It is over priced for sure, but it is a good product nonetheless. I have high hopes that the ampoules might be even better.

Augustinus Bader… Hmm, this became such an iconic brand ever since it was pushed by some well known celebrities (you know which ones). I have seen their products included in as so many places that chances are you have tried it already. If you haven’t though, you can read some of my thoughts on the products in what follows. Again, hmmm. This cream is hard to talk about as I do like it to some extent, but I do not believe it is worth anywhere near its price point. It works and does its job (most of the time) but it has a shorter than expected shelf life from my experience nor does it truly impress. I said that it works most of the time as this cream is a bit much for my oily skin, however when my skin needs a richer moisturiser, it goes on quite well. Something to keep in mind if you have oily skin.

I have not tried the other two products.

Overall conclusions

Overall, i am quite happy with the beauty kits. There is definitely something interesting in each and every one. However, if I were to pick, I would go with either one of the last three and ignore the first. It is not like the first one is a bad kit, but personally I do not really need the products included. There is only one product that I would like from that kit…

Do carefully analyse each and eery kit and think of your needs. After all, that is all that matters.
