Colour me impressed. Just like last time, CEW UK managed to deliver once again. This Summer Beauty Edit is simply gorgeous in my humble opinion. I love the variety of products included and that there are not that many makeup items in here. However, what I love more is that this kit contains products that we haven’t really seen included elsewhere, at least not frequently and not in some time. The exception is of course Augustinus Bader…
Speaking about Augustinus Bader, if you end up getting this beauty edit from CEW UK, then you might want to start with the Augustinus Bader cream or at least leave it completely unopened (aka do not sneak a peak) until you do end up using it. Once opened, you need to stick to it. I am serious. I have gone through 10+ bottles of this products in deluxe or sample size and they al had the same issue. The product has a short shelf life in my experience, shorter than even advertised on the jar. Sadly, this the Rich Cream is not the only product with this issue. For this reason, I think it is great that we get so many opportunities to get the products through beauty gifts and kits as otherwise, I pretty much doubt you could finish off the full sized version before it starts smelling off. The product is a good one and it works even on oily skin, it does on mine at least – not all the time, but when I need some more TLC, it does a good job.
I haven’t used many of the above products so I cannot comment on their quality. The only one that caught my attention is the Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Facial Oil. I haven’t used this one either, however I have used the Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm in Rose and while it was amazing, the scent was way too strong. Hopefully that is not the case here. I also linked above the reviews of some of the products I did try/use.
Overall, I am super tempted by this kit. I honestly believe this lineup included in the Summer Beauty Edit from CEW UK is incredible and that the kit is worth a try.
