Where will you be able to grab the Net-a-Porter beauty advent calendar from?

The calendar is available exclusively at Net-a-Porter starting October 11th.

Shipping

I don’t have a confirmation for this, but I do hope and believe that the calendar will be available for international shipping. It always has been as far as I can recall. I sincerely hope that nothing will change this time around, especially since the rest of their beauty sets and offers, and let’s not even mention regular beauty offerings have been available for international shipping and still are despite Brexit.

I know that some countries were placed on the restricted list, my home country included. This means that Net-a-Porter stopped delivering products to these countries. However, as far as I can tell from the website, the restrictions have been lifted. So if all goes well, this calendar should reach regardless of where you are.

Comments

It’s incredibly rare to find a beauty advent calendar that embodies luxury and novelty like this one. The Net-a-Porter Beauty Advent Calendar 2021 has me quite excited already, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it! I don’t think there will be any or rather too much disappointment this year because the calendar looks like it has some pretty cool stuff inside. It will be interesting to see what the price tag is but I would be surprised if anything changes from 2020 (price and value). The countdown has begun!

You can read my review of the 2020 version here if interested.

Seriously now. The Net-a-Porter beauty advent calendar looks pretty incredible. The contents are well selected and (almost) every product is super luxurious. I expect that we won’t have to face the same disappointment as last year when two low-value products were placed in two drawers rather than bundled together. Albeit luxurious, the two haircare products placed a damper on the whole experience even though everything else was excellent.

When it comes to the above list, I do have two observations if you will.

First, we have the This Works Deep Sleep Body Cocoon body cream. This product stands out like a sore thumb really, especially when you look at the rest of the products from the list. Don’t get me wrong, the product is not bad. Actually, it is one of my favorite products from the brand, but I do not find it to be at all luxurious. It has nothing on the rest of the items.

Second, I could not help but notice that they’ve included another product from Hayo’u, the Rose Quartz Beauty Restorer. I have nothing against the product and I do believe it will be very high quality, just like everything else from Hayo’u is. However, the jade beauty restorer was part of the calendar last year. Sure, this one won’t be purchased by the same people as last year…. won’t it though? Of course, there will be new buyers and some people who won’t be getting it again in 2021, but I am sure there will be an overlap and it is not like we are talking about a consumable here. This is a beauty tool, one that if you are lucky and take good care of won’t break and will last you for a while. I don’t mind all that much, but it is something that’s stood out when I was going over the list.

I won’t bother even bringing up Margaret Dabbs. You all know how I feel, but at least this time the feature is coming from someone other than Liberty so I guess that is slightly better.

Other than these two observations, I have not spotted anything that irks me 🙂 The brands you will see in the calendar are pretty much the same as last year’s brands, however, there is quite a lot to discover from each and every one of them plus the products are different and not really products you can find everywhere nor products we have seen in beauty offers. That for me is a bonus.

Overall, I strongly believe that this is going to be one of the best beauty advent calendars you can choose from. There has not been a year since advent calendars became such a big thing that the Net a Porter one did not make a feature on my list of the best beauty advent calendars. This year is no different. As far as beauty advent calendars go, this one is pretty incredible. This calendar is definitely one I will try my best to grab, if shipping restrictions allow it.

  1. I have the exact same observations, the this works cream (which I really don’t like), the gua sha (ubiquitous in the recent years and of course I already have one, but can give an extra one to someone I like) and the foot cream (although maybe useful in summer, but I don’t have dry heel issues so probably would end up with someone else). Dont care for a pillow mist, but Mauli Rituals is always welcome. And I prefer a mist to a roll-on. The rest looks really nice and the two makeup items seem usable for me even with my overflowing makeup stash. I’d really like to try something from VB and the CT eyeliner is an interesting choice for me.
So now the matter of shipping and potential additional fees. I’m trying to manage my expectations, but huge thanks for the heads-up:) I’m seriously considering this one

    1. glad I finally got to share something that you might be interested in haha 🙂

If they do ship, I don’t think there will be any additional fees to be honest. They are an international retailer to begin with so….but we shall see how things progress. Also, regarding currency exchange which I know is something you do pay attention to – last year I ended dup paying less than the UK price. Not by a lot, but a tiny bit less.

  2. Any news when this will be released? I can’t find it anywhere. Rumours was the 20th (like yesterday) but that didn’t happen…

  3. It’s not available yet outside the UK and they couldn’t confirm it it would be or be completely sold out for the UK today.

  4. Later as the same day? Or just a few days later? They have confirmed there’s separate stock for the EU

    1. I don’t know unfortunately. Will post a separate article when I know more or when the product launches. If you are an email subscriber, you will get an alert.

  5. It flying out of stock within a day in the UK is surprising. I wonder if the first batch was simply small or this year it’s got Cult Beauty level of demand. Last year it eventually sold out but I think it was 2 or 3 years ago that I saw it with a discounted price for Black Friday, was it?

    1. I am not sure. I don’t think I ever saw it discounted. Personally I do think only a small batch was released but I could be wrong. It does generate more hype this way… however it did move fast. In recent years the calendar stayed in stock for a few weeks

  6. Any news if they are going to release some stock to ship to Europe?
Until now the USA, UK and Asia could order this, however not EU? Anyone any insight?

  7. On my country site it remains unavailable. Any luck for you? Do you know if it’s been available for the EU at all yet?
I sort of stopped being interested in buying it, though, and that’s a good thing
