Ever since Cult Beauty started releasing these boxes more seriously, at least, there have been a few good ones. I was even lucky enough to get my hands on one [of the good ones] late last year. However, some of them were not all that worth mention on this blog, but now, they finally decided to launch one that in my humble opinion is. The new launch is a beauty box created in collaboration with the incredible Sali Hughes. See below for more details.

I’m really happy to see a new box from Cult Beauty and especially one that looks this cute. The Sali Hughes collaboration box contains many great products and even cult products actually. For once, I really have nothing bad to say about any of these products. I have my issues with two of brans, but people seem to love those so…I don’t find all Inkey List products to be all that great and Paula’s Choice seems a bit too hyped IMO. That does not mean these products won’t work for you or that they do not work in general.
The only thing I am not that happy about is the price. I mean come on? I know that things are hard, especially for retailers, but also for customers. The price is a bit high up in my opinion, especially when you consider other beauty offers available and I am not just talking about beauty gifts with purchase. Of course, this is still a good option for everyone who is wiling to dish out the amount requested and that is completely fine. I know for sure that there were days when I would have done so as well. I might still do so, but that is another story. However, I do have to point out that this is nor the best offer in terms of price/value, but also that not everyone is readily able or willing to go for it given alternatives. The products on the other hand are top notch.
So overall, I do believe this is a good box and one that is definitely worth getting, however the timing of this launch could not be any worse given alternative beauty offers. But then again, given some shipping limitations, this offer could potentially be a like a consolation prize (even if I hate thinking of it as such).
