Zolando Beauty Advent Calendar 2021

I am back with a new beauty advent calendar. I am not sure if we have ever seen this one before. I was browsing for some shoes when I stumbled upon it and had to share. This one is more for our EU friends though.

So Zolando…now, I did not see this one coming. I think I missed the memo on beauty completely but then again I have not ventured outside my comfort zone on shoes in ages. That is basically the only reason why I even look at the retailer. It has been a while….as in my last order was placed on the UK website while I was still in London. So yes, a while. The benefit of following new people on IG…. It led me back to Zolando and to this cutie you will discover more about below.

Zolando Advent Calendar Price

Say hello to the new Zolando Beauty Advent Calendar, the only beauty advent calendar I have seen so far that does not only ships to the EU, but is affordable and contains a mix of drugstore, high street, and luxury products while at an affordable price.

The Zolando Beauty Advent Calendar is priced at €99.95 and has a value higher than its price. I do not know the exact value, unfortunately, but there is one product inside that basically makes up for the price and that is the Foreo Mini UFO.

The Augustinus Bader Cream adds an extra €75 to the value. This leaves quite a few products to add more value.

Grab it here before it sells out.

Zolando Advent Calendar Comments

I honestly do not know what to tell you as I am torn myself. There are quite a few great products included in the beauty advent calendar and some that while I do not know, I am not drawn in by either. However, the price is fantastic. This makes the purchase of this Zolando advent calendar for me personally quite a hard decision.

You already know how I stand on the Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream. The Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream is an okay product and it works, however, it has a short shelf life (Really now, am I the only one who thinks this??) and it is truly overpriced. The advent calendar is a great way to try the Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream or to replace your emptied-out bottle while not breaking the bank.

While I may have not tried the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Lip Protectant Tin, I have tried several other products from the range. They work, however, the classic ones were all vaseline or similar based and that is not my thing. If you like thick lip balms, then this may be for you. Unfortunately, I have no clue whether this one is indeed a lip balm with a heavy texture, but it looks like it is. The lipstick-shaped version of this is pretty neat though. So it could go either way.

Do people really love the Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer? I am curious if any of you have tried it before and what did you think of it. Personally, I found this product to be one of the worst hair care products I ever tried. Despite that, I am willing to give it another shot as I was a beauty novice back then… Do you have any tips on how to use this to make it work? What effects have you noticed after use?

While this is a product I cannot find a need for right now, the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base is a fantastic primer. If I could only wear one primer for the rest of my life, this one would be it. Foundation looks great and natural with this underneath. The skin looks glowy without looking greasy. The dream.

The Urban Decay Mini All Nighter Setting Spray is also a pretty incredible product. I always wanted to get more into UD, but the brand just does not work for me or the products are not my cup of tea. You have no idea how much time I spent browsing their boutique store and their website, but could not find myself purchasing anything, and the things I did purchase, ended up not working. However, the best product I have tried from them is the All Nighter Setting Spray. This setting spray is the real deal. At the end of a long and exhausting day, my makeup would look almost like I had just applied it. Not only is this one of the Urban Decay products that I loved, but it is also one of the best setting sprays on the market as far as I am concerned.

I have not tried any of the other products so I won’t comment on the specifics, but I do have to say that overall, this calendar does contain a bit too much makeup for my taste. I truly wish that it focused more on skincare given the times. On any other day, this would be a balanced beauty advent calendar.

I did mention I was torn and I owe you an explanation. The product that pretty much makes up for the price of this advent calendar, the Fore Mini UFO is a product that I have been looking into quite a bit lately. When it first came out I was super unsure about it, but lately, I have been considering more and more beauty tools (including the UFO) given that I truly cannot go in for any beauty treatments. I do not feel comfortable going to a salon more times than absolutely necessary on a normal day, but less so now. I know that there are some amazing people in the industry, but I did have some nasty experiences and I also feel super uncomfortable and exposed. While most devices cannot replace a proper salon treatment, some are better than nothing.

The UFO mini is not exactly the tool I settled on. I had decided on a regular-sized one that encompasses more technologies and works with more masks than the one included in the advent calendar, but it would be a great way to test the product and determine whether it is something I can see myself using long term before making a significant investment.

Decisions, decisions…

Now, leaving my feeling out of it, this Zolando Beauty Advent Calendar is a good option, especially for EU-based beauty lovers. We may have access to local advent calendars and those released by dm and Rossman, but there is no denying that the British ones are some of the best ones which starting this year are less of an option than ever before. If you like the contents and if you have an actual use for them, then the Zolando Beauty Advent Calendar is a good option.

What do you think of this beauty advent calendar from Zolando?
