You probably noticed that I haven’t really spoken about cleansers on here. It haș definitely been a while since my last review of one such product. It is not that I don’t use them or that I don’t have any, oh I have way too many, however I cannot seem to find one that I like. There have been a few over time but they were either discontinued, or I did like them, just not enough to want to use them all the time. Better than the alternative, right? Most of my cleanses are stored away in a huge Harvey Nichols gift box. By huge, I mean regular coffee table sized/ pillow sized. Never realized how hard is to make a comparison here as everything comes in so many shapes and sizes these days. This is perfectly fine, but makes it difficult to provide a reference point.
Anyway, yes, my history with cleansers sucks. However, I just received a new cleanser, one I never came across before and though it should try it. It even received some beauty awards so decided to go for it. The cleanser is the Oskia CityLife Cleansing Concentrate.
Oskia CityLife Cleansing Concentrate Review
The first thing I noticed about the cleanser of the size. She is tiny y’all! The Oskia CityLife Cleansing Concentrate is 30ml and it has to be the smallest cleanser I ever got which was not a deluxe or sample size. Surprisingly, I love this as it might just give it a good chance to end up empty at one point in the future. I suck when ti comes to emptying cleansers. None really impressed me and I tend to switch a bit too often. We all have out things and some just have more of them…
The Oskia Cleanser is tiny but mighty. The cleanser does a very good job at removing impurities, at removing remaining traces of makeup and just leaving the skin clean so basically doing its job. However, unlike some other effective cleansers, this one does not strip the face. I never found a gel (sort of) cleanser that feels so gentle on the skin before and I have tried more cleansers than I care to admit.

The cleanser from Oskia, as mentioned above, has more of a gel texture than anything else, but I did find it a bit more watery than plastic like. I unexpectedly liked the texture, but what I liked even more is that the cleanser does not generate a huge amount of foam and that it washes off super easily without creating more foam right at the end. I am very particular about my beauty products as you can see. I always seek to find something that is both effective and easy to use. I cannot stress this enough. This products is close to being what I am looking for in a cleanser.
Honestly, I do not know what else to add here. As someone who has been suffering from acne and blackheads, especially driven by pollution, I have to admit that this product is exactly what I would have liked to have found while I was living in London, but even now. Any extra help I can get is more than welcomed. I am sure you will appreciate this tiny cleanser from Oskia as much as I am.
Overall, the CityLife Cleanser from Oskia may be tiny, but it is effective. It is a gel cleanser and yet it is not super foamy nor drying. It does a good job at removing impurities and maybe even helps a bit with the look of pores without leaving that tightening feel behind. So far so good. I am actually impressed with this cleanser concentrate that I was not even sure whether to try to not. I will keep you updated, but so far this is a product I do recommend.
