Before discussing the product, I must add that I am not an avid The Body Shop shopper and that I have rarely purchased products from them. I have done so from time to time especially when it comes to products from the Almond Milk collection as well as some rare Christmas limited edition ones, but for the most part, the products I did try were from beauty boxes and calendars. This one is no exception. The Body Shop Almond Milk Body Butter is a product I received from the November edition of the My Little Box France (the month is a bit blurry, but I do think it was November).

Okay, let’s get back to The Body Shop Almond Milk Body Butter review.

Let’s start with the texture – The Body Shop Almond Milk Body Butter is definitely on the thicker side, which might not be everyone’s cup of tea. It usually is not mine either. However, despite its thickness, it absorbs rather well, sinking into the skin without leaving behind any sticky or greasy residue. This makes it ideal for those who want a deeply hydrating product without the hassle of waiting for it to dry down before getting dressed. Okay, maybe waiting a minute or two would not hurt but no more than that is needed.

But what really sets the Body Shop Almond Milk Body Butter apart is its hydration levels. After using it for a few days, I can attest that the moisturizing effects last for a couple of days. Yes, I made the sacrifice of skipping a shower to test it out for you guys! My skin remained soft and hydrated, with no flakiness or dry patches in sight. I do not know about the 96-hour claim, but a good 48 is definitely the case. Even after showering, the skin did feel more hydrated than before the first application of the product, but a repeat application is needed at least for a few weeks after which you can skip the butter if you do not feel like using it every single time you shower.

Of course, we can’t talk about the Body Shop Almond Milk Body Butter product without mentioning its incredible scent. As someone who loves anything almond-scented, I was immediately drawn to this range of products. The Almond Milk Body Butter has the same delicious aroma, which is warm, nutty, and comforting as the rest of the range. It’s not too overpowering, but lingers on the skin for a while after application, leaving you feeling cozy and pampered.

Overall, I highly recommend The Body Shop’s Almond Milk Body Butter to anyone looking for a deeply hydrating, non-greasy moisturizer with an indulgent scent. While it might not be the best choice for those who prefer lighter textures, it’s perfect for those who want to give their skin a much-needed boost of hydration. So go ahead and treat yourself to this little luxury – your skin (and your senses) will thank you for it! The price also makes this product a great choice.
