Bath and Body Works Exclusive Holiday Calendar 2022 Comments

The new holiday set from Bath and Body Works contains a variety of products in a series of classic Bath and Body Works scents. This may be disappointing for some but personally, I do not mind. I only tried the Winter Apple and the Vanilla Bean but loved both and they are absolutely perfect for the upcoming season.

Honestly, I am quite certain the other scents included are just as great. Over the past 6+ months, since I started regularly shopping at Bath and Both Works, I got products in over 50 different scents, and with a couple of exceptions, I loved them all. The other two or three were fine as well and high quality, just not necessarily my cup of tea.

If you have yet to try Bath and Body Works, I highly recommend you do. Yes, the brand is under the same umbrella as Victoria’s Secret however the quality of the products from Bath and Body Works is superior. While VS does do lingerie well, it does not even come close to BBW in terms of beauty.

I could not help but notice that some people are disappointed not only with the inclusion of the classic scents but also with the Wallflower Fragrance Plug. To be honest, in my opinion, it makes complete sense for them to include a white, simple design for this object. Not everyone uses the same colors to decorate for Christmas. Personally, we sometimes use red, other times pink or purple and others white.

A white Wallflower Fragrance plug makes sense as it goes with anything regardless of one’s decor. I actually picked this one myself just the other day. Sure, I did not have many designs to choose from as the local online store launched that exact day I placed my first local online order. I keep mentioning local as I did purchase stuff online from abroad many times… But I was actually happy with being able to choose a simple, elegant white plug that I could use all year round regardless of how the decor changes in my house with the seasons or with the holidays.

As for the rest of the products, the foaming soaps are of high quality and surprisingly moisturizing. I had to give up fragranced soaps a while ago as my skin started to react. I went through many brands and none were as good as this one. The BBW foaming soaps are now a staple on my bathroom sink. They are a bit expensive, but they are always on some kind of offer. But yeah, I just love their scent and they put me in a good mood. The fact that they do not ruin my skin also helps a lot.

The shower gels from BBW are also pretty darn amazing. I was not expecting it, but they are some of the most moisturizing shower products in gel format. They leave the skin feeling clean and yet, not at all dry. The skin is left with a healthy sheen and feels smooth to the touch.

I also wanted to quickly mention the hand sanitizer. I know a lot of people are not fans of Bath and Body Works because of the price. But I have to say that their hand sanitizers are definitely worth the price tag as they work so well, smell incredible, and do not ruin the skin. Also, they are small so they fit anywhere. The best part though is that you are not left with a gross layer on the skin that just does not go away until you ahs it off with water and soap. Not sure about your part of the world, but where I am, there have been so many such products released in the past three years. Yuck.

The fine fragrance mists are also pretty nice, but the scent does go away rather fast. You need to reapply often, but I do not mind. They are not perfumes after all.

The hand creams are a bit strange. I do like them, but they are rather lotion-like. They are also moisturizing, but not as much as a cream or butter would be. However, they do absorb well and leave the skin soft and smelling nice without any greasy residues.

Overall, this set is a great value. I think it is a perfect gift for anyone who loves Bath and Body Works products or who is just getting introduced to the brand. It comes with a good mix of products and scents. There is something for everyone and it is just a great way to try out the brand without committing to full-sized products.

I hope you found this review helpful. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them.

What do you think of this set? Have you tried any of the products beforE?
