Cult Beauty the Scent of Summer Edit Comments

When it comes to beauty edits, Cult Beauty has once again outdone themselves with “The Scent of Summer Edit.” This fragrance-filled box is a mesmerizing collection of scents that will transport you to a realm of summer dreams. While every box has its strengths and weaknesses, this edit has a lot to offer, making it a tempting choice for fragrance enthusiasts seeking a diverse olfactory experience.

Let’s start with the positives. One of the standout products in this edit is the NEST New York Perfume Oil. Available in three enchanting variations, ‘Madagascar Vanilla,’ ‘Turkish Rose,’ or ‘Seville Orange,’ these deluxe-sized perfume oils are a pure indulgence for the senses. The long-lasting scents are captivating, leaving a subtle trail of fragrance that lingers throughout the day. These luxurious oils offer a touch of elegance and are perfect for those who appreciate a sophisticated and alluring scent.

Another gem in this collection is the Pacifica Dream Moon Spray Perfume. Presented in a full-size bottle, this perfume captivates with its ethereal blend of floral and dreamy notes. Its delicate and uplifting fragrance is ideal for the summer season, evoking a sense of tranquility and serenity. The convenient spray format allows for easy application, making it a go-to fragrance for daily wear.

One of the most innovative and unique offerings in “The Scent of Summer Edit” is the Jo Loves A Fragrance Paintbrush in ‘Pomelo.’ This full-size product brings a touch of creativity to your fragrance application. With its brush-like applicator, you can effortlessly paint the scent onto your skin, creating a personalized and intimate experience. The ‘Pomelo’ fragrance itself is invigorating, exuding a zesty and citrusy aroma that perfectly complements warm summer days.

While this edit boasts some exceptional products, it’s important to address a few potential drawbacks. One such consideration is the inclusion of the Oribe Côte d’Azur Eau de Parfum in a travel size. Although Oribe is renowned for their haircare products, this fragrance falls short in terms of longevity. While it initially captivates with its sophisticated blend of bergamot, jasmine, and sandalwood, the scent tends to fade rather quickly. However, the travel-friendly size makes it an ideal option for those on the go or looking to try a new scent without committing to a full-size bottle.

The inclusion of the Gisou Honey Infused Hair Perfume adds a refreshing twist to this edit. The deluxe size offers a great opportunity to experience this luxurious hair mist. Infused with honey and floral notes, it not only adds a beautiful fragrance to your locks but also helps to nourish and enhance the shine of your hair. It’s a welcome addition for those seeking a multi-purpose product that goes beyond traditional fragranc.

The rest of the fragrances I have not had the pleasure of trying so I cannot comment on them.

In conclusion, the Summer of Scnet Edit from Cult Beauty seems like a truly exceptional one. With a wide range of captivating scents, there is something to suit all tastes. Whether you are looking for a romantic floral scent or a zesty citrus aroma, this edit has it all. Its carefully curated selection of luxurious products and generous savings make it an attractive proposition for fragrance enthusiasts. Now, all that remains is to sit back and enjoy.

There’s an app? I had no idea. (I will not install it unless I yield to their practices because I’ll badly want the calendar, hopefully not)
Ah, UK only is a total deal breaker. Maybe for the best, though.
Pacifica is a cruelty free brand that had fragrances in their offer already very long ago when it was near impossible to find such and I’ve wanted to try something from for quite a while, but it’s not a fancy brand. The brush from Jo Loves was in some calendar a couple of years ago, also in Pomelo. Was a funny thing to try but nothing I took notice of. The latest Kayali being a very sweet gourmand from what I read will not be up my alley at all.
Still, I’d buy it if it was available

Yeah, I am also very disappointed as I wanted it as bday gift but… it seems like nothing is going my way this year. Maybe for the best like you said!

I’ve just seen the previous fragrance box available right now, but for 80 EUR. I got it on the previous sale and I must say that the Cra-yon fragrance I find very challenging as it totally is not up my alley. The candles were as you could expect them to be, the Kayali fragrance very office friendly and linear, Fugazzi to me feels heavy, evening and a cold season fragrance but something I’ll wear with pleasure although i wouldnt buy a bottle myself. The room mist is nice, a characteristic and strong smell, but not unpleasant for me. Two sprays are enough to fill the whole bedroom. I can’t assess if it really has the aromatherapeutic effect it claims to have.
