Skin Laundry is an American brand you probably know all about as it is often featured on must try brand lists. This is one of the reasons why I wanted to try it myself years ago, but I have to say that I wasn’t very lucky. Oh no, I did try it, except I did not particularly enjoy any of the products I tried.
What a horrible thing to say, right? Well, it is true! Luckily, I got a new product to try – the wrinkle release sheet mask.
Even though I had the mask for quite a while now, I only tried the it once I returned from my trip to Vienna. I spent a wonderful week in Vienna with my The Glossy Go Getter team working on strategy and whatnot. Once I got home, my skin was super dehydrated and tired. Since the Skin Laundry Sheet Mask claims to help with such predicaments, I thought it was the best time to give it a try.
The sheet mask application was easy, even though opening the mask was not. The two sides of the mask are not well designed and they stuck together due to all the serum. I hate when that happens, but what can we do? However, I was pleasantly surprised that the mask was a nice fit. Usually these things get into my eyes or they don’t fit around my mouth properly so this was nice for a change.
Okay, but did it really do anything? Despite being enriched with so many nutrients, the effects of the mask were not that visible. Sure, the mask did help my tired skin seem a bit more luminous and a bit more hydrated than before, but I did not see any improvement in my fine lines. I do have some of those around my mouth, despite what my mother says! I see them… I know I should have not expected any major changes, but the truth is that I have used masks and other products whose effects are immediately noticeable.
While I am not saying that this mask is not good, it is not impressive. I did like it, but not enough to purchase it again. However, I do have to say that this is the best product from Skin Laundry that I have tried.
