This is the first ever Sephora Beauty Advent Calendar that I purchased. Since I am in the UK, I got mine from France, however the calendar is/was available at other Sephora stores. I have spotted the beauty advent calendar in at least several other continental Europe stores so do check locally if this is something you are interested in. I have a feeling that you might be *wink. Now was that a spoiler or what?
Delivery
Well, there is not much point here since I got the calendar from another country, but I just wanted to say that the delivery was smooth and it took a bit longer to get the order than usual. Everything went smoothy as it usually does when ordering from Sephora France to the UK. I will talk soon about the experience of ordering from France as I know that some of you might be interested. I tend to do this often so I have some thoughts.
Calendar Box
The actual calendar did not come wrapped in its own box but was in a plastic bag and included with the rest of the items that I purchased from the store. Normally, advent calendars are shipped separately. This was not.
The calendar comes in a beautiful, average sized box that was protected by a plastic sleeve. Like I mentioned before, the calendar was not too big, but not too small either. It was just perfect. The box is not reusable, but easy to gift.

The reason why I was so impressed with this calendar is actually its contents. No, the calendar did not come filled with full sized products. In fact, most of the products above are sample size or deluxe size at best. There are only a few full sized products included and that is okay. You wanna know why? This calendar is filled with products that we see everywhere, products that are pretty much mainstream, but not drugstore affordable. They are right at that threshold where we think (or at least I do!) twice before making an investment. The products in the calendar for me are the exact products that I have been overthinking whether to buy them or not ever since they were first released.
The brands included in the Sephora Christmas Favourites Beauty Advent Calendar are brands we are all familiar with and if I were a betting woman, I would bet brands that we all tend to have products from in our beauty collections. However, not to sing more praises to Sephora for their choice, these are products that I don’t really have, as I mentioned above. They are products that I have been eyeing. But most of all, and I want to emphasise this again, they are products from brands that I tend to love, but not purchase enough from. And this what makes this Sephora Favourites Calendar stand out.
This Sephora Favourites Christmas Calendar is one of the calendars from the 2019 season that really gets it. It hits really close to home and offers the buyer 25 beauty products that are easily incorporated in their routine. The Sephora calendar basically gives you a great sample of products that can become staples in your beauty regimen and of course that you can easily purchase in any of their stores. However, most of all, the Sephora Beauty Advent Calendar contains products that have not really been included in any of the other calendars.
Price
Well the price is slightly different depending on location and currency exchange. Like I mentioned above, I got mine from France where it was priced at around 90 euros. I believe this was a reasonable price for the calendar. However, I managed to get it on offer so I only paid around 65 euros which made this calendar an even better deal!
Where can you buy it?
You can buy this beauty advent calendar exclusively in Sephora stores. The calendar was available in several countries, not sure if in all. You might find that the calendar is sold out online, but there might be stock left in your local store. It is worth checking out. Hope you will find it!
I believe that you already know what comes next. I mentioned it right at the beginning, but it is something worth repeating. This calendar from Sephora is an amazing product that I am more than happy that I decided to purchase. The calendar offers great value and gives me the opportunity to test products from some of my favourite brands, products that I have yet to try and could not bring myself to buy before.
Is this a calendar that caught your attention? Which calendars did you purchase this year?
