After the more than depressing post I published yesterday, I decided to post something more “sunny”. SpaceNK decided to launch a new volume/edition of their beauty heroes after the success of the first one. I for one, do not mind. How about you? Not sure yet? Comments
I do not have many comments today, plus I am trying to refrain myself as I would not like to dampen anyone’s day. This new box from SpaceNK is one of the most exciting boxes I have seen released recently, however I do admit that while I would love for it to enter into my possession, it is not a box I am rushing out to buy.
The contents from what i can see are pretty good and there are a few predicts which I love and others which I have high hopes for by trying their sisters and brothers. One product I love immensely, even after 4 or so years of using is the Bum Bum Cream. If you have not tried it before, then you definitely should. I also love the Dr Dennis Gross skincare brand, but also the treatments included in this box. They are easy to use and I feel significantly more comfortable using these treatments than applying acid from a bottle. I am weird like that. Oh don’t. It is not like it is news. The pads worked perfectly well on my oily skin and they are quite effective.
Another product I have not tried, but would love nothing more than to do so is the Olaplex no6. I recently finished my bottle of no3 and I am telling you, there is no messing around when it comes to these products. Are you surprised? Welcome to the club. I have used to many similar products or at least products that wanted to provide the same benefits, even so called iconic ones and nothing. The Olaplex no3 really helped after a DIY haircut. It did not go wrong per se, I am pleased with the results, but my new pair of professional scissors was to blunt or something and the tips of my hair which reached my neck would sting each time they made contact with the skin. The Olaplex no3 helped soften them and fix the bonds in my tips as well as make my hair a bit more glossy overall. I do not know much about hair, but the idea is that I had a problem which did not go away until I started uising the product regularly. From hat moment on, I was sold and now I am curious to see whether the rest of the products are actually worth the money.
As for the rest of the products in this box, I have not tried them so I will not comment on them.
Overall, I do like the box, but I am not over the moon about it. I spotted Caudalie and Laura Mercier which are two brands I am still unsure about. They both have some gems, but for the most part, their products did not do anything for me. There is also the Nars Mascara which would go unused in my case so… In addition, I am not all that excited about the price. It is fair and you still get a discount, but I would have wanted to see this box priced at £50-£70. Just my opinion…
