LookFantastic June LF Hero Kitted Box

LookFantastic is back with another limited edition beauty box. In June, on top of your usual subscription box, you can also get the Hero Kitted Box if you so desire. Of course, you can get this box even if you are not a subscriber of the service. I have no idea why I even started this intro in this manner. By now I had to write so many of these intros that they no longer feel natural, especially when I do not really anything to rant about. Hmm, I hate this! Yes, I am totally pouting right now. Let’s see what the box is all about, okay? I made big enough of a mess.

I am not one to get excited about hair care filled boxes, but this one does look pretty alright. I love haircare products, don’t get me wrong. However, I also know that not many work and that they usually end up gathering dust. I had a stage when I went through so many haircare products and you might recall that I forgot all about them. I forgot about them to such an extent that it is not even funny. Never happened before with anything… Yeah, it was that bad. Why did I even bring that one up? I have been trying so hard to forget it even happened. It does not impact you in anyway so please ignore me.

Although, for the above reason, I do believe that haircare boxes can indeed provide value. You get to try several haircare products without spending a small fortune on them. Also, when they come in deluxe sizes, they most likely won’t end up gathering dust until it is their time to end up in the rubbish and you won’t regret it as much if you end up hating them. So if you are in need of some new haircare products or still looking for ones that work for your and your hair, then this box could actually be a good option.

Speaking about the products, the Olaplex no. 3 is pretty incredible. This is my favourite product from the brand and the one I do believe is worth every penny. It worked wonders on my hair tips. It mended some of the broken bonds and made my hair look healthier and more glossy.

The Christophe Robin Salt Scrub is also a favourite product of mine. The product does a really great job at leaving the hair cleaner than when using a regular shampoo. After using this product, I can go longer in-between washes as it truly removes some of the impurities that regular shampoos do not. However, it is not super easy to use, at first at least. The product does require lots of water as otherwise you might end up applying too much product because you might get the feeling that it does not work. It does work, but it takes some time to figure out what the right amount of product is and how much water it truly needs to dissolve.

I haven’t tried the other products, but I am intrigued to try the blow out cream. It sounds good, but am curious whether it actually works or not.

Overall, like I mentioned above, this box can be a good idea, but it really depends on your needs and that of your hair. I feel like hair is the most stubborn bit and has a personality of its own. I am sure some of you will agree, so do make sure to “ask it” before making a decision, yeah?
