It has been a while, no? Well, it definitely feels like it. I know that I skipped on quite a few posts, however I have been so exhausted lately. I guess that is what not taking any proper time off in close to two years does to a person. I am off work fro the next couple of days though so I will do my best to update you an all new things that have been going on in the beauty industry, from news to beauty launches. Hopefully I can pull it off.
The first post I want to share with you though is this one about the Latest in Beauty Fabulous Active Ingredients Beauty Box. You know how much I love my Latest in Beauty purchases as I won’t stop shouting it from the rooftops with every chance I have. Okay, that is a bit of an exaggeration obviously. I really feel like I have no business going anywhere near a rooftop, but I do like Latest in Beauty quite a lot actually.
So back to the latest limited edition box. This beauty box is focused on products with active ingredients in them which I think is pretty neat. I do not recall ever seeing them came out with a similar box in the past, not a limited edition and not even a monthly edit. And boy do I love active ingredients 🙂 Enough chit chat though. Let’s see what this box is all about, shall we?

Latest in Beauty Fabulous Active Ingredients Edit Comments
The newest beauty box from Latest in Beauty is pretty good and it definitely lives up to it’s name. It is all about products that are rich in active ingredients, which for me makes the latest beauty box even more exciting than usual. There are lots of products I have never tried before as well, so kudos to Latest in Beauty for adding some variety to this new beauty box.Â
I am not going to go through each and every product, especially since I haven’t tried any of them. See? This here is the beauty of Latest in Beauty. They often have beauty boxes that contain products I have not tried before or even heard of before. However, even when I was unsure of the contents, the gamble pretty much always paid off. I ended up discovering lots of products over the year that became favourites of mine and did do while getting a pretty sweet deal.
Initially I was “no, I would hate this” when thinking about the Charles Worthington Scalp Caring Shampoo. Okay, maybe not hate-hate, but I would dislike or not be impressed at least. How quickly I changed my mind on this one and far I’ve come, no? It does not happen often. Charles Worthington does have some products that you will end up loving if you use them enough or discover the right ones. The brand overall is nothing exciting in my opinion, but then there are the must buy products… not sure whether the Scalp Caring Shampoo is one of them, however it does sound like a good option. I have yet to encounter many products on the market, especially in the haircare area that are formulated using a series of active ingredients such as HA, Salicylic Acid etc. I like this move for haircare as the scalp also needs some extra help. Not sure whether the Charles Worthington Scalp Caring Shampoo is the product for it, but this box surely gives you the opportunity to try and then some.
Another product I am curious about is the Vitamin A from Alpha H. Not only is Alpha H what got me into using skincare with active ingredients in it, but Vitamin A is the key ingredient as far as I am concerned. Okay, Vitamin A is the one I will be needing moving forward, but I do love HA just a bit more perhaps and Niacinamide is not that far behind.
Overall, this box might not contain many super well known products however there is definitely stuff to choose from and the price is pretty great.
I will not be getting this beauty box (for obvious reasons – not currently UK based and forwarding is restricted to “big” items since Brexit (for me at least) -, however I do recommend it for anyone interested in trying various products with active ingredient and see what works and what does not work for them or at least get a feel for what the specific active ingredient is capable of.Â
What do you think of they new edition of the Latest in Beauty Box?
