Givenchy L’Interdit Eau de Parfum: A Chic and Opulent Fragrance with a Twist

Are you looking for a perfume that stands out in a crowd? A scent that is opulent, luxurious, and makes a bold statement, yet remains wearable for both day and night affairs? If so, the Givenchy L’Interdit Eau de Parfum might just be the fragrance you’ve been searching for. In this blog post, I will share my personal experience with this perfume and help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.

Product Overview: Givenchy L’Interdit Eau de Parfum

Givenchy L’Interdit is an exquisite and captivating fragrance, evoking a sophisticated blend of elegance and seduction. With top notes of bergamot and fresh ginger, heart notes of orange blossom, jasmine and tuberose, and base notes of patchouli and vetiver, this eau de parfum is a delightful experience for the senses. Though the notes present in this perfume are those I typically adore in other fragrances, Givenchy L’Interdit offers a unique twist on the familiar, leaving me both intrigued and uncertain.

My Personal Experience with Givenchy L’Interdit

As a lover of all things luxurious and indulgent, I was immediately drawn to the opulence of the Givenchy L’Interdit Eau de Parfum. Upon my first spritz of this fragrance, I was enveloped by the intensity of its rich, tantalizing aroma. The bergamot and jasmine notes sang in harmony with my favorite scents, but there was something else – a note that left me feeling conflicted.

As I continued to wear the perfume throughout the day, I found it to be long-lasting and extraordinarily versatile. The L’Interdit Eau de Parfum managed to remain captivating at both daytime events and evening soirees, never ceasing to draw compliments and inquiries. But even as I enjoyed the attention this fragrance garnered, I couldn’t help but feel a little ill at ease with that specific combination of notes that can make me feel odd.

This perfume does not give me a full blown headache but I can tell that it is not the best choice for me. It is too strong and intense, yet it still manages to remain beautiful and elegant in an unusual way. The scent of Givenchy L’Interdit Eau de Parfum may be unique but I would suggest that if you are looking for a fragrance with a chic, opulent twist, this could it. I don’t think the perfume is bad, it’s just not for me or not an everyday choice for sure.

Conclusion and Recommendation

Yet, that specific combination of notes that causes an unsettling feeling is something to consider before making a purchase. Ultimately, this perfume may be ideal for those who appreciate bold, luxurious fragrances that make a statement while maintaining versatility and adapting to various situations. Fun fact: this parfume was created for Audrey Hepburn 🙂 at first it was just for her, but after a while the creator decided to commercialise it which made Audrey angry.
I have a deluxe size of this perfume, I use it from time to time but I won’t be buying a full size bottle. To me it smells quite generic, which makes sense since it probably inspired numerous other fragrances.

I was weirdly “forced” to buy it. There is a long story but it was a birthday gift from someone who only loves perfumes and made me get it. I am super unsure about it. These days I prefer either boutique or high street perfumes for some reason
