Dr Jart+ Cicapair Colour Correcting Treatment Review

It’s been a while since my last review and for that, I am terribly sorry. Life has been hectic and I have received a series of unexpected news, some good and some bad from various sides. It’s been a rollercoaster, to say the least, and there are no hopes of things slowing down anything soon. However, I found a few minutes here to share my thoughts on a product that we have been using for a while now and that I know you will want to learn more about as well.

Dr Jart+ Cicapair Colour Correcting Treatment

You are probably quite familiar with the Cicapair range from Dr Jart+ or if not, you might have at least heard of this range as it is incredibly popular. The Cicapair Colour Correcting Treatment is one of the newest additions to this range and it is a treatment that helps to correct redness and helps with inflammation.

Now, I am not someone who typically struggles with redness. I do have some redness around the nose area, but luckily it is not something I am worried about all that much for now. However, I was curious to try the Cicapair Colour Correcting Treatment as it has been receiving some rave reviews and Dr Jart+ is a brand that I trust.

Since using the Cicapair Colour Correcting Treatment, I have definitely seen an improvement in the redness around my nose area. It is not a drastic change, but it is noticeable and I am happy with the results. My overall skin just looks more balanced in terms of color – yes, I did apply the product all over the face.

I have also been using this treatment on my mom who just had around 30+ tiny skin tags surgically removed from around the neck area – so a very visible place. Unlike me, she was quite embarrassed by the temporary marks this procedure left, especially as she had to go to work. While her colleagues are very understanding, it could still come across as weird to her patients especially without knowing what the marks are. She applied the Cicapair Colour Correcting Treatment in the mornings and while the marks did not become invisible, they did fade as the Cicapair Colour Correcting Treatment covered them quite well and the tiger grass helped a bit with inflammation as well. They were no longer as visible and did not draw as much attention. That was a happy customer right there.

How do you use Cicapair Color Correcting Treatment?

To use, simply apply a pea-sized amount evenly over the face after cleansing and applying your usual skincare routine. Cicapair Color Correcting Treatment can be used morning and night. Even though, personally, I would not include it in my nighttime skincare routine. See more below as to why.

How does the Dr Jart+ Cicapair Colour Correcting Treatment work though?

The Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Colour Correcting Treatment is a color-correcting cream is a green cream that changes into beige once applied to the skin. It is very similar to the green concealer you might have used back in the day. However, the cream has a nicer and lighter texture, but you should not expect the product to feel quite as light as a typical moisturizer.

Is it necessary to wash off CicaPair?

Yes, Dr. Jart+ Cicapair should be washed off after application as it is not a typical moisturizer. Dr Jart+ Cicapair Colour Correcting Treatment has ingredients that will help to correct redness and calm the skin, but it does need to be removed at the end of the day as it acts similarly to makeup.

If you were to use a cotton pad with micellar water, you will notice the cotton pad turning beige as if you had applied foundation.

My recommendation is to wash off the cream at night and before following with the rest of your nighttime skincare routine.

Is Cicapair Color Correcting treatment good for acne?

Cicapair can help with calming the skin, but it will not actively treat acne. It does help even the skin, help with the inflammation around acne spots as well as the redness.

Is Cicapair worth the hype?

In my opinion, the range is quite great and pretty much worth the hype or at least some of the hype. Now, seriously, the product is good. I cannot say that I am obsessed with it or the rest of the products from the range, but they are pretty high up on my list.

Where can you purchase the Dr Jart+ Cicapair Colour Correcting Treatment?

The Dr Jart+ Cicapair Colour Correcting Treatment is available from a number of retailers including:

Overall, I think the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Colour Correcting Treatment is a good product if you are looking for something to help with redness and evening out the skin tone. It is not a miracle worker, but it definitely helps to improve the appearance of the skin.
