Sephora Favorites Iconic Female Founders’ Selection Set Comments
This new Sephora UK set is the perfect way to try out some of the hottest products in the industry, all from female founders who have made a name for themselves in the beauty world.
Let’s start with the skincare in this box.
The Drunk Elephant TLC Babyfacial Smoothing Treatment is a game-changer, leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth. And when paired with the Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Oil, my skin looked and felt its best. Of course, the Baby-facial can be paired with other products as well which render just as good if not sometimes better results, but they go well together as well. As you may be able to tell, I am not the Marula’s Oil’s biggest fan even if it is an ok product on its own.
But the makeup products in this set are equally impressive. The Fenty Beauty Fenty Glow Universal Lip Gloss is a must-have for any makeup lover. It adds just the right amount of shine and complements any skin tone. And the Huda Beauty Power Bullet Matte Lipstick Girls Trip is the perfect bold shade for summer.
The KORA Organics Exfoliating and Illuminating Face Mask is another standout product in this set. It left my skin glowing and refreshed, and the Rare Beauty By Selena Gomez Perfect Strokes Universal Volumizing Mascara I heard only good things about but have yet to try.
And let’s not forget about hair – the Ouai Wave Spray may be the perfect way to get those beachy waves without spending hours in the sun but sadly for me it did not wor. My hair cannot handle it.
And the Tarte Seduce Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blusher gives just the right amount of color for a natural, sun-kissed look. It is a soft, creamy blush but without a huge payoff. I’d give you the level of pigmentation your skin needs without overdoing it.
Overall, I have to say that the Sephora Favorites Iconic Female Founders’ Selection Set is worth every penny. It’s the perfect way to try out some of the hottest products in the industry. Whether you’re a seasoned beauty pro or just starting out, this set has something for everyone. So go ahead and treat yourself – you won’t regret it.

You’re getting it?
Maybe if so can find it in my local Sephora but otherwise no. I probably would have if I were in the UK
How about you?
If my stash was 20% of what it is now 😀
Gloss Bomb was the first (and only) product from Fenty that I bought when it had (finally) launched in Poland. I liked it a lot but never got to finish, eventually had to throw it away be because at some point it’s gone bad. Maybe I’ll repurchase one day, before 2028…
I’m using Huda lipstick from the CB calendar, it’s very nice in terms of wear and texture. I got a colour similar to the one here, mine is in Sweet Cheeks. It’s not the matte one, though. I got a red matte one from Huda in a calendar too, was it the first CB calendar? Never used that lipstick and I wonder if it’s any good. It’s been 4 years? Probably not 🙁
I’ve heard blush is one of the best Tarte products, together with the concealer and foundation, but I’ve never tried. I use blush maybe twice a month, so I’m trying not to have more than one.
I’ve also heard great reviews about the Drunk Elephant products included here, but never had the chance. I’ve used the OG TLC serum, felt very potent on my skin but I don’t particularly like it and I’m not sure if there were any notable effects visible.
Love how you have a timeline for when there will be space for new products in your stash. Talk about dedication 🙂
Thank you for sharing your experience with the products 🙂
PS: the Gloss from Fenty was also my first product
I think it’s a psychological thing, that people often buy a lip product, back in the day it was lipstick, but now I think it can be considered a category. I want to try a brand or have something from a luxurious brand, and lipstick is the first choice.
I ended up with almost 50 lipsticks because of that. Plus glosses, like the Fenty one. The only product I got from Fenty ever, the type of product I had absolutely too many of, like none other type of product in my stash.
By the way 2028 is a bit of a joke, although realistically speaking that might be the case, because even though the lip products I have now by 2028 will all have gone rancid if I don’t pan them on time, I’ll surely get some sets or calendars that will contain some lip products so I’ll definitely have something to use, and my speed of panning a lip product is such that I hardly ever pan anything. Maybe I can if I have 3 in total.
Haha. no, I get it. Same with me to be honest. I can finish lots of products especially skincare but I do not recall ever finishing a makeup product, maybe a foundation or two. I started slow when it comes to makeup but usually when I was close to running out I tended to get or receive in an offer a replacement which I so would then start using. I started wearing lipstick in 2016 only though but my collection also grew to more than one hundred: however most shades I dislike. I tend to go for a rose nude, a red burgundy but more sheer and for hmm that is it. I did purchase a few myself and also tried those in offers calendars etc but none of them work. I started giving them away after a while so that my collection would stop growing. Weirdly enough, I only had a few lipsticks that have gone rancid. The rest smell fine and feel fine even though logically they should not be. What brands have you had issues with?
The most notable ones were L’Oreal, Givenchy and Stila. As for lipglosses really ugly turned Clinique and MAC. In all honesty I’ve got no idea how long had passed except for MAC lip gloss which turned bad within less than a year but that was several years ago, maybe 10.
I never had issues with Givenchy but did with L’Oreal and Revolution, MUA and other such drugstore brands. My MAC lipsticks survived well (5 years). Lip glosses do tend to become gross 🙁 thank you for the info. I will lookout for it within my stash
