Okay, not bad at first glance right? Okay, it took e a second glance to get exicted about this calendar, but way less than it took me to even consider the otehr amazing offerings out there. I admit that it took seeing the Tula Eye Balm to reach this level of enthusiasm. Spekaing about products, here are some of my thoughts on the prducts I have tried from this advent calendar.

The box is really beautiful but I’m surprised that 5 items are the same as in the last year’s Cult Beauty calendar (the lip mask in chocolate, Sunday Riley vit C serum, Color Wow spray, Augustinus Bader the rich cream and the eyeshadow quad that looks like Exagger-eyes).
I can wholeheartedly recommend the body serum from Nécessaire, I’ll be buying a full sized bottle once I finish the body products I have. After one use of the serum my skin got so silky smooth like never before.
So yeah, there’s a couple of nice products in the calendar but the overlap with last year’s CB calendar and products I absolutely don’t need (yet another red lipstick, even if those from Hourglass were one of the best lipsticks I have ever used) or don’t use or have already makes it so less appealing for me.
What about you? Considering it? They had an atrocious shipping rate to your country this year, so I hope they’ll have it fixed with the calendar.
This one I am considering but probably won’t buy. It depends on the shipping rate as well as whether it gets discounted. Last order from SpaceNK I also had to fill the paperwork myself for customs which is a drag in general but worse when it is a box full of other items. I cannot just say advent calendar on the forms 😞 but will be keeping my eyes out for this one. However, to be honest, I do not see myself getting many advent calendars this year if any. I am holding out for Korean beauty ones but now with the lost points from Miin, I am less inclined to shop there as well.
Interesting info about the body serum. I only tried the Eucalyptus body wash and hated it. Will try the serum if given the chance now that I heard such rave reviews from you 🙂
