You probably don’t know this, but I love Marks & Spencer and their beauty boxes as well. M&S is a pretty underrated shop, but if you dig deep, you will find quite a few gems. However, one of the reason I love the shop the most is for its beauty boxes.
The Marks & Spencer beauty boxes are not released often, but when they do, you must try to get your hands on one of them. They are a certain way to get valuable and really good products at a fraction of their retail price. I have been getting my boxes fro several years now and I have to regret it once. Even when I was uncertain about the contents, I ended up loving the products included.
But don’t take my word for it. See for yourself.
What is in the 2019 Summer Beauty Box from Marks & Spencer?
Ultrasun Face SPF30, 25ml
“Use this lightweight anti-ageing, water-resistant formula in place of your moisturiser and make-up primer. The UVA and UVB protection is fast absorbing with a soft matt finish, and it’s ideal for sensitive skin types.”
While the above might be the description provided by Marks & Spencer, I tend to agree. The UltraSun Face SPF30 is one of my to go to moisturisers, particularly in summer. However, you can use it all year round as you can never be too safe from the harmful effects of UV rays.
Ren Atlantic Kelp and Magnesium Body Wash, 100ml
“Loved for its pioneering 100% recycled bottle with 20% reclaimed ocean plastic, this wash is packed with seaweed extract to cleanse and nourish skin. The bonus is Ren’s uplifting essential oil blend that kickstarts your day.”
Hmm, I love REN. I truly do. However, this is one product I cannot make up my mind about. Don’t get me wrong, the product is not exactly bad, but the fragrance is just not me… I do look forward to investigating again.
This Works Perfect Legs Skin Miracle, 30ml
“This silky formula enhances legs with a veil of sheer tinted serum that glides on and gleams – the ultimate summer saviour for legs that have been in hiding.”
No comments on my part as I have yet to try this product. However, the quality of all the products from This Works that I have tried before has been incredibly high.
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo, 92ml
“This magic spray grants every wish by soaking up oil and sweat while cleansing the hair and scalp. The fresh scent ensures your style is revived – for days.”
The Living Proof PhD Dry Shampoo is one of the most interesting dry shampoos I have over tried. You can nearly feel it!
Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels, 3.2g
“Get a whole new outlook with this cooling quick-fix eye treatment. Laced with pure Icelandic glacier waters, arctic berries and pure oxygen, the patches help to firm, de-puff and reduce wrinkles – in 10 minutes”
I have to admit that I have this one in a box, but I haven’t used it yet so no comments from me.
Emma Hardie Moisture Boost Vitamin C Cream, 15ml
“Capture luminosity with this vitamin-enriched face cream. A blend of vitamin B3 and slow-release vitamin C reduces the appearance of dark spots as it hydrates. Look at you glow”
I am not the biggest fan of Vitamin C products, but this is one of the best I have tried.
Shay & Blue English Cherry Blossom EDP, 10ml
“The bloom of youth: delicate pink blossoms with bergamot, black cherries and cherry wood combine in this pretty, warm and bright eau de parfum”
I am actually looking forward to trying this one as I am very intrigued by the brand and its connection to Jo Malone. I have tried other products and they are very high quality, but the scents haven’t really been what I was expecting them to be.
Rosie for Autograph Radiance Highlighter, 15ml
“This cult favourite puts skin in its best light with a supermodel-worthy bronzed sheen. Apply to your cheekbones and brow bones, or mix with your liquid foundation for a radiant glow.”
Rosie for Autograph is one of my absolute favourite beauty collections you can find in an M&S store. The products are really great usually and they tend to surprise you in a good way. I look forward to reviewing this one for you.
Formula Deeply Nourishing Face Mask, 15ml
“This creamy coconut blend quenches dry skin instantly. For a more intense effect, leave the mask on overnight for a plumped, youthful complexion come morning.”
No comments from me.
Rodial Vitamin C Energising Face Mask, 20ml
“Make your skin glow from the inside out with the potent mix of luminosity, hydration and resurfacing technology found in this serum-soaked, bio-cellulose mask”
Same as above. There is a box somewhere in my beauty room/bedroom/office where this mask resides.
What do you need to do to get your hands on the Summer Beauty Box?
So first all, the box is worth over £110. How amazing is that?
In order to get your hands on this amazing box, you need to spend £40 across M&S departments and then you can get the box for only £15.
Yes, I know that the Marks & Spencer Summer Beauty Box is not a gift with purchase, but it is still wroth the money. I am very serious.
The box is available both in stores and online.
There isn’t much else you need to know at this point. What are you waiting for? Go get your box. They are likely to sell out fast.
