Lancome Le Crayon Khol

I wear eyeliner on the lower lash line or waterline almost every single day so as you can imagine I am quite particular about the liners I choose to wear. They must not smudge and that is the first and most important requirement as I honestly do not wish to end up looking like a Panda. While the look looks good on the bears, it definitely does not look good on me. I have been there so I am speaking from experience and I really do not want to go there again.

Other qualities a liner must have is that they need to be soft. The eyeliner needs to be soft enough so that you can apply it without feeling like you are scratching the incredibly sensitive skin around your eyes. Trust me, it happens so often that a liner is so hard that you need to apply a little bit of pressure and that is rough on the skin. However, it does tend to happen mostly where waterproof eyeliners are concerned and by logical deduction you reached the conclusion: waterproof eyeliner are the ones that also do not smudge usually which puts people such as myself in a bad situation thus making it incredibly difficult to find a good liner.

When I got to try out the Lancome Le Crayon Khol I was super nervous, I mean I did not want to get my hopes up only to end up disappointed yet again. I have been disappointed by bigger and better brands in the past.  To my complete surprise, the Lancome liner is actually amazing. It is a pencil type and not crayon type, but it is soft enough to apply with ease and in addition, it stays put for quite long periods of time. You might need to retouch throughout the day, but that is absolutely fine. The liner itself does not take the first place on my list of preferences, but it is pretty high.

The only drawback when it comes to this Khol pencil from Lancome is the price tag. The price is the middle range for a high end product, but there are some other more affordable option out there. If you can afford it or want to spend your money on this product, then go for it as it is worth it, but if you are on a budget or don’t enjoy spending money just for fun, then go with something else.

Overall, while the liner from Lancome can be considered a small splurge, it is truly worth it for me. The liner pretty much thicks all the boxes, but like I said, it is a bit pricey. I do recommend the product though, but also keep in mind that there are alternatives on the market.
