The new year has just began, but there are many launches on the horizon already. One such new launch is the beauty box from Estee Lauder companies.
I don’t know about you, but I really love Estee Lauder companies beauty boxes. These boxes contain products from various brands under the Estee Lauder umbrella and it is a great opportunity to try out more from these brands.
While I really enjoyed most products I tried from all EL companies, I don’t usually reach for them when in store. I really do not know why that is. Maybe packaging and marketing does not catch my attention as much as that of other brands do? Whatever the reason might be, I don’t reach out to get Estee Lauder products, I don’t go out of my way to purchase them. However, I want to emphasise once again that the reason why I do not buy the products does not have anything to do with me not liking the products. In fact, I usually liked everything I tried from them before. That is where these boxes come in.
The beauty boxes from Estee Lauder such as this Fresh New Beginnings Box is the perfect occasion to try out the company products at a fraction of the price. I get several such boxes per year and I never regretted my choice. While I usually like 80% of the products, it is worth a try as otherwise I might have ended with a full sized one I hated.

- Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex Synchronized Recovery, 3ml
- AERIN Amber Musk Eau de Parfum, 4ml
- Clinique Moisture Surge™ Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate, 15ml
- Origins Mega-Mushroom Relief & Resilience Treatment Lotion, 30ml
- M·A·C Eye Shadow, Omega, 1.5g
- Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color, Neutral Rose, 2.25g
- Aveda Thickening Tonic, 10ml
- Smashbox Travel-Size Photo Finish Radiance Primer, 12ml
For once I cannot talk about many of the products included in the box, but I can tell you that the Aveda Thickening Tonic is a pretty interesting product and it did work quite well on my hair the last time I tried it. In addition, the PhotoFinish primers are some of my favourite ones. This is not one tried before, but I did enjoy some others from the collection. Also, the Bobbi Brown lipstick is high quality and very pigmented. The Origins Mushroom range smells a bit funny, but you get used to it. I cannot comment on this particular products though. As for the rest, you will need to try and find out as I have yet to try them out myself.
Since I am currently on a spending ban of sorts, I am going to pass on this box. However, I really wish I would not have to.
Price and Launch date
The Fresh New Beginnings Beauty Box is already out and the price is £28 which is the typical price for these boxes. However, the value of the box is higher at £79.
