ColourPop Lilac You a Lot Eyeshadow Palette

You already know that I am a huge fan of ColourPop and built quite the collection over the past few years, more so since it is so easy to get the brand’s products in the UK. Lately, one product I reach out to the most is the Lilac You a Lot Eyeshadow Palette and for good reason.

Lilac You a Lot Shadow Palette Review

I experimented quite a bit with eyeshadow lately. I am no expert by any means, I am anything but an expert actually. However, I have been wanting to try eyeshadow and incorporate it into my makeup routine. That is something I have not done until recently which is why I rarely talked about such products on this blog.

The moment ColourPop started releasing these 9 pan palettes, I fell in love. I really liked the idea of having a small and portable eyeshadow palette that contains shades that focus around one colour group so to speak. I told you that I am not super adventurous. I just found a colour that works for me so what more do you want πŸ™‚ ? Purple is definitely my type of colour so there was no way I was going to skip the Lilac You a Lot palette.

I have been using the palette for a few months now and I have to say that I love it. This might not be the best palette that ColourPop ever released, but it is a really good one nonetheless.

The Lilac you a Lot palette from ColourPop is one of the dreamiest palettes I have ever seen. The palette comes with 9 pans as I mentioned before and as you can see in the photo above. The pans are part super soft matte shades, while others are glittery metallics.

The reason why I mentioned above that this is not really the best ever palette created by ColourPop is because as you can see in the photo above, not all shades swatched as easily. While the quality of the shades is superior to that of many other palettes on the market, there are palettes from ColourPop that are slightly better than this one. I did not encounter any issues with the metallic, but two of the matte shades did not swatch as flawlessly as I would have wanted. Not without a base underneath. A wet base does wonders for these shades.

Overall, I highly recommend you get this palette. It is a cute and dreamy palette and the shades are pretty versatile. Personally, I love to wear one or two at a time and more often than not, I apply the shades using my fingers rather than a brush. They are perfect for both complete beginners, but also for more professional makeup users. Simple, affordable and highly pigmented, what more can one wish for in a palette?

You can purchase the palette on the ColourPop website.
