Purito is one of the most beloved Korean beauty brands, or at least that is the way it seems given the number of people who have talked about this brand in recent months. Personally, my experience with the brand is so-so. Some products I did enjoy while others I did not get why the hype.
Today, I wanted to talk to you about one of their most recent launches: the Purito DermHA-3 Serum.
Purito DermHA-3 Serum
The Purito DermHA-3 Serum is as the name suggests yet another hyaluronic acid serum. Consequently, the expectation is for the serum to help plump the skin and improve the skin’s ability to retain moisture.
At first glance, the serum from Purito is nothing special. With so many HA serums on the market, what is one more, right? I did not have high expectations when I started using this one as not only did I already have a super potent HA serum that I love from Dr. Sebagh and that I have been using for years, but my experience with the brand has not been as positive as that of other skincare lovers.

However, my expectations were exceeded with this one. The Purito DermHA-3 Serum is one of the most hydrating serums I have used in a long time. It leaves my skin feeling plump and hydrated all day long, even if I do end up applying makeup on top. Still what is new about this, right.
The texture.
So many hyaluronic acid serums have a viscose texture and they take ages to absorb into the skin and then leave a sticky layer behind. That is not the case here. The Purito DermHA-3 Serum has a gel texture that is super light and that absorbs into the skin in no time without leaving any sticky residue behind. This is the lightest HA serum I have found thus far. So if you dislike the feeling of most HA serums, then you will probably enjoy this one.
The ingredients list is also impressive as it contains not only three different types of hyaluronic acid but also ingredients that are soothing and that present antioxidizing property. The product is alcohol-free and it is also free from essential oils or fragrances. You can consult the complete ingredients list below.
Ingredients
Water, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Panthenol, Glycerin, Glyceryl Glucoside, Caprylyl Glycol, Pentylene Glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Allantoin, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Disodium EDTA, Malachite Extract, Copper Tripeptide-1, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Hydroxyacetophenone, Ethylhexylglycerin, Madecassoside, Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassic Acid, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate
The serums come in a 50ml bottle which is larger than most serums out there. The bottle comes with a pipette, but it is rather easy to use however you do need to hold the bottle in place as the mouth of the bottle has an anti spillage mechanism (can we call it this?) which makes it tricky to get the pipette out with one hand.
While I doubt that I will go crazy over Purito anytime soon, I do recommend this one product.
Yes, there are a lot of different serums on the market, and it can be tough to know which one is right for your skin. But if you’re looking for a serum that will help to improve the overall appearance of your skin and dislike most HA serums on the market, then you may want to try Purito DermHA-3 Serum.
