Like I said time and time again now, it seems that beauty boxes are all the rage these days. I still believe that these type of boxes are great as they provide us with the opportunity to try and maybe even fall in love in products we would have not purchased otherwise. However, there is always the worry that these type of beauty offers are more frequent in order for retailers to dump stock? Is it just me? I still feel very tempted by some of them no matter the reason why they were launched though. Okay, let’s see what FeelUnique has in store for us, shall we?

I know what you are going to say. This gal loves every single box, but that is not true, now is it? I do like many of them, but there are very few that I actually love. I cannot say that I am obsessed with this new box, but yes, I do like it quite a lot. Have you seen the contents? What is there not to like? Okay, for me personally there is First Aid Beauty which is highly effective, but all my products from them smelled like in a hospital, at least that was my impression. I have not tried the product included in this box from them though. In fact, I have not tried any of the products included in this box. Okay, I am not that sure about the Aromatherapy Associates Oil, but the rest I have not tried for sure. I did try the shampoo from Kerastase from the same collection as the oil and it is my favourite shampoo, well one of then. L’Oreal has a cheaper version of it, but it does not even come close. I wonder whether the oil is just as good as the shampoo….
I like it even better when a new beauty box does not contain any products I am familiar with. I already treat such boxes as discovery boxes rather than focus on their value. I do like great price/value ratios, for sure. However, I am more interested in discovering new gems that I might have not purchased otherwise.
The only thing I have an issue, okay, not a real issue, but something that caught my eye is the design. I am pretty sure that a Estee Lauder beauty box from two or three years ago had a very similar design with the flowers and all that, but it was white. I believe I still have that one somewhere, but no matter. This does not affect my opinion on the box whatsoever. Who knows, maybe the designer of that box switched companies or is an indecent designer…. yeah, not going to go there
Overall, I like this new spring box from FeelUnique and it is definitely something I would purchase. You get interesting products from reputable brands and on top of that you get a nice price. Yes, the price is slightly higher than we have gotten accustomed to from this type of retailers, but everything is getting more expensive these days so the days of getting this type of value at a lower price are getting fewer and far in between.
