I am quite happy to see a new beauty gift with purchase, especially one from Fenwick. Like I said in the intro, I feel like it has been quite a while since they released one so it was high time. Plus, the more the merrier, right? In addition, the highest the competition, the more retailers have to try to impress us. It seems pretty logical, no? I could be wrong, but I do feel like retailers need an incentive to try a little bit harder as they have “slacking off” (sorry, it is the only word that came to mind). I know things have been though and I have said this time and time again, but as consumers not only do we wish to get more value for our money and are more inclined to go to those who offer us exactly that, but things have been hard for us as well. Some of us were laid off, some had pay cuts and more. Things have been difficult for all of us. No question about that, but I do feel like retailer are trying to use this as an excuse. Correct me if I am wrong and feel free to disagree.

Okay, so yes, I was super excited to see this new offer. The products are quite good as well and the amount you need to spend in order to get this beauty bag as a gift with purchase is not outrageous by any means. In terms of products, what can I say?

The Caudalie Resveratrol Cream is perhaps my favourite products from the brand, but then again, Caudalie and I do not get along all that well. Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic is a product I have not used in a while, but I remember liking it. Now, seeing it again makes me want to try it again. It has definitely been a while since I last used Liz Earle which is a shame. Molton Brown Delicious Rhubarb & Rose Bath & Shower Gel is pretty darn amazing as well. As I am sure you know, most Molton Brown products are quite good. I was unsure about the scent at first, but it is actually pretty nice. It is luxurious, no doubt about that and the product itself feels nice on the skin. It is also not super foamy, nor drying.

I cannot comment o the rest fo the products, but overall the beauty bag does not look bag IMO. In fact, I find it pretty cute and if you are need of some pick me ups (I feel weird using this expression, especially after last night’s post) or rather you need some beauty products to replace the ones you just finished, then it is worth giving it a try.
