A new month, a new box from ASOS. I am really starting to love these boxes and their frequency. I know that they have bene around for loner, but I feel like they were less frequent? In any case, I wasn’t up to date with the releases and always missed out. Because I don’t want you to miss out, I made it my mission to follow these boxes more closely as they are cute, usually inexpensive and provide quite a bit of value. Everything a beauty lover wants, right?

Comments
Okay, so price/value wise this is not exactly the most interesting beauty box out there. I am quite surprised by the low value of this box, however the contents are not half bad. There is definitely something to choose from int his box, but it comes down to you personal preferences.
The product I like the most from this box is the full sized one aka the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. Do not think though that the reason I like it is because it comes in full size. No, nothing to do with size here. This is the first ever product I purchased from CeraVe back when the brand was still hard to come by. Their products were always sold out. I go it on the last day of August after finding it in the Boots on Kensington Hight Street which was my local (ex local) Boots shop at that time. I was back in my old borough waiting for the time to present my master’s viva. I was all packed and my stuff was already on its way home as I had already moved out of where I had been living for that past year. The beauty products I still had with me were very limited and I was beginning to run out of cleanser (probably for the first time ever) since I had chosen to keep a bottle that was way too small while I shipped the rest home. It was a lucky coincidence, but one of the best decisions I ever made. This cleanser stole my heart from the first use. It is one of the best cleansers I ever tried, regardless of price range. The cleanser is so gentle to the skin and it leaves the skin hydrated rather than dry. It feels like I applied a hydrating mask rather than used a cleanser after every use. However, it is is a cleanser and it does a pretty good job at removing any traces of makeup left as well as impurities. This is an amazing cleanser regardless of skin type IMO. My own skin type is mostly oily so after knowing how great this product was and that there was another version for oily skin, I went and grabbed that one as well. Nope, this one is still better and much more suitable for me. You cannot believe just how many people I recommended this product to. I know that many ignored me as a drugstore product cannot possibly be that “good”, but it is. This cleanser from CeraVe is truly a wonderful, affordable cleanser.
As for the rest fo the products, I do not have that many comments as I have limited to no experience with them. I liked above a review of a Tan Luxe product that is similar to the one included in this box. I do have to say that I love seeing one of the newer products from Sand&Sky included here. For the longest time it has been the same old product again and again. From time to time we have seen some of their newer products in gifts and whatnot, but definitely not often enough. I still haven’t tried anything other than their original clay mask which back then wasn’t even sold in the UK and had to have it shipped from Australia. This for me indicates that their newer products haven’t been included in beauty offers or gifts nearly enough. Sure, I haven’t made that many purchases lately and never got every single beauty gift, but there used to be a time when I got way too many and I still never came across other products than the clay mask. Sure, I could have purchased them, but where is the fun in that?
Overall, this is not my favourite beauty box from ASOS, but if the content interest you or you are curious to give the products a try, you still get more value for your buck.
