Soroci Soothing Organic Skin Toner

I never hid the fact that I just love toners. My skincare routine would not be complete without one. It is what it is. For so many years we heard that toners are useless and that they are no more than pretty scented water, however as I mentioned a few times already, that is not always the case. While western brands have created many toners that are indeed just enhanced water or at least feel like it, Asian brands have created skin toners that provide true benefits. The most popular brands that created such products are Korean, but brands from other Asian countries should not be disregarded.

For today I did pick a Korean brand – Soroci – but that has more to do with the fact that K-Beauty gained popularity world-wide and as such it is more easily available. I am definitely super keen on trying products from brands from other countries as they did not disappoint either, but for those I usually had to rely on friends.

Soroci Soothing Organic Skin Toner Review

Summer has not been kind to my skin. Wearing a mask whenever going outside definitely did not do me any favours, but still not ready to give it up. Hate on me all you want, my skin already does. It is not the worst it has ever been, but I quickly came to realise that my skin needed some “light” TLC or otherwise I would risk making things worse. It needed soothing products.

With so many soothing products out there that promise to make your skin feel better and look healthier in no time at all, how do you know which one is right for you?

Sadly, it takes some research, but also undergoing a testing process. In recent months I did use one product that helped me quite a bit and that was a welcome addition to my routine, especially on days that I would use acids. The product in question was a serum from Soroci. Sadly, I ran out a couple of months or so ago, but then I remembered that I still had the Soothing Skin Toner from Soroci and thought I should give it a go and see whether it can alleviate some of my current issues. I did not feel like I was in the position to go searching for something I never used before in some format or another.

Did the Soroci Soothing Skin Toner magically solved all of my problems? Obviously no. However, it did help. It helped more than a regular “scented water” would have.

The Soroci Soothing Skin Toner has been specifically designed to meet the needs of different skin types – dry skin, oily skin, sensitive skin or combination skin – because we know that everyone’s needs are different. The rice-based formula feels incredibly nice on the skin, more so than I expected. The toner absorbs quickly and does not leave any residue. Surprisingly, it is also super light and water like. Usually these types of toners are thicker in consistency, more like serums or essences than the toners we have gotten used to.

This skin toner is also free from artificial colors and fragrances that can be irritating to skin, which means the only thing you have to worry about is how good your skin looks! It is definitely a relief to not have to worry about potentially irritation my skin further, that is for sure.

Now, when it comes to soothing, you need to keep in mind that this product is still a toner and not a serum. It is obviously not as potent. However, and skin does indeed feel more soothed and calm since I started including the Soroci toner into my routine.

Look, I was very skeptical at first, same as with the serum from the same range, but weirdly enough it works. It might not be like the rest of them K-Beauty toners, but despite its watery consistency, the toner is indeed a little bit soothing to the skin.

It does not dry out skin or somehow irritate it, but just soothes and calms.

I know the price might be a little bit steep at first glance, but if your skin needs some TLC without going overboard, then I recommend trying the Soroci Soothing Skin Toner. It is one of the better skin toners I have tried in a while.
