Comments on the Take Me Away Beauty Kit
Before commenting on the rest of the products, I could not help but notice that Margaret Dabbs made yet another appearance. I get that this is an iconic Liberty brands, but seriously? While personally I do not mind the brand as I know some of you do, it is still not a favourite and seeing it in every single beauty kit or beauty gift set from Liberty is getting a tad old. Don’t you agree? At least this time they’ve included a hand sanitiser so I guess that is a little bit better.
Okay, I am most likely one of the few people who would think that. However, I have gotten quite attached to my hand sanitiser and I am still looking for better options. The nicer hand sanitisers and the ones that are usually more gentle on the skin tend to leave a residue which you get to sense after several applications and when finally get to wash your hands. I am always looking for something that is both kind to the skin and does not leave that gel-like residue. I am going to finish with this tangent now as I am sure most people are beyond tired of hearing me talk about hand sanitiser and do not want to have to be exposed to such conversations anymore. Just wanted to say that I am glad this Liberty beauty Kit gives us the opportunity to try a new such product that who knows, could prove to be better than others we have tried thus far.
Okay, let’s get back to the topic on hand though.
I haven’t tried all that many products from this beauty kit so I will not be able to provide in depth comments on some of the products, however I can tell you that even though I have not tried the 111SKIN mask, I do have high hopes for it.
The 111Skin Y Theorem range is perhaps the best one the brand has ever released. The has yet to be a product from this range that I did not like. The only one that came close was the eye cream, but I did like it, it is just that I did not love it nor did it “shock” like some of the other products have such as the neck treatment. The range is definitely what made me more interested in the brand. So yes, I do have high hopes for this mask.
The next product I can tell you a bit about is the Noble Isle Bath & Shower Gel. I have not tried this particular one before, but I have tried several others and the quality is definitely there. The products feel super nice on the skin and have incredible scents. They are very similar to the products from Molton Brown I would say, however the Noble Isle ones are lighter in texture and a tiny bit gentler and less foamy.
I have not tried the others products, but would like to add that Suqqu surprised me every single time and in a good way. So maybe this product here is just as amazing.
Overall, this beauty gift set is a great option if you like the products included or have any interest in trying them out. It contains some classics and essentials, however there are also surprises hidden in here such as the SUQQU product which personally I am extremely excited to try. Price value wise, this kit is also a good choice.
I recommend giving it a try.
