I am going to start by saying that I do not have any personal experience with the haircare products included here, at least as far as I can recall. However, the reason why such edit caught my attention is one that you might know if you have been following this blog for a while and paid close attention to some of my ramblings.
Besides skincare which I am absolutely fascinated about, hair care has a special place in my heart. I won’t say that I love or am obsessed with haircare because that could not be further from the truth, however I am well aware that I need good haircare products. Not only I want to be taking good care of my hair for as long as I can, but I am as talentless as they come when it comes to styling my hair in any way. My skills are as basic as combing and doing a boring pony-tail. I am that bad. However, from time to time I did came across some products that helped my hair achieve more volume, allowed my hair to dry in a such a way that it nearly looked styled or even added a tiny bit of texture that made it look like I actually made an effort without making one. So from this regard, I do have some sort of a strange appreciation for haircare. The issue is that there are tons of products out there that simply do not work, that do not work on your person/are not compatible with your hair type or require skill or time we sometimes do not have. As such, I am always excited about the possibility fo trying new things just in case a new great product comes along, but it can get expensive and that is where these offers come in.
Offers such as this new Haircare Edit Gift with Purchase make it more fun, more affordable and sustainable, I guess, in a way to test out haircare products. With so many minis you might be unfamiliar with, you won’t end up with lots of product you might never get to finish or have any interest in doing so. You get a few tries, you decide whether the products are any good for you and whether they suit your need and that is it. I realise that packaging wise it might not be actually more sustainable, for pocket and space wise it is. Hopefully, the haircare industry will also start revamping their packaging, but there are way too few brands that considered it and I get it in a way. One of my latest haircare addition is a mass bottled shampoo. It requires a bit of special handling to say the least…. There is a long way to go and a earning curve for sure, but maybe we will get there. Anyway, let’s get back to the topic 🙂
Overall, this is a good kit, especially if you are curious to try more haircare products but more so if you actually have products you wish to stock up on or in need of some replacements.
