Oh My Cream is also back with a new edition of their beauty advent calendar. This year, Oh My Cream partnered with Virginie Hucher to bring us a beautiful boxed advent calendar filled with clean beauty products.
Who are Oh My Cream though? Oh My Cream is a French clean beauty rattler. I know that I talked a bit about the retailer in the past, but just in case you missed it or are new on here… I am going to leave you this link detailing my shopping experience if you are interested to know more about them.
The gist is that Oh My Cream is a reputable, boutique retailer based in France that specialises in clean beauty products. They even have their own in house brand that is worth checking out as their products are quite good. I have not encountered any issues when shopping with them in the past. They also ship internationally!
Can we talk about the advent calendar now? I am a bit overexcited here :)). Do feel free to ask any questions about the retailer that you may have in a comment below or by email.

In regards with the products, I left some comments above where I showcased the list of contents. If you have any specific questions about the products, you can always write to me or leave a comment below. I also ask that if you’ve tried any of the products above to share your thoughts with the rest of us. Any information if helpful!
I have to say that I was starting to doubt that Oh My Cream would release a calendar this year, however I am glad that they have. I enjoyed my Oh My Cream beauty advent calendar last year even if the calendar and its contents are not exactly the kind of products I usually go for. You can read my review of the previous edition of this calendar here if you are curious to see what the retailer had in store for us last year and how it compares to this new version.
Content wise, overall I do believe you can get quite a bit of value from this Oh My Cream 2021 advent calendar. There is a good mix of makeup, skincare, haircare and body care included. However, I do have to note that the sizes are a bit smaller than one would expect to find in an advent calendar. Please do remember that this is smaller retailer so that definitely plays a role here.
I also noticed that there are quite a few Oh My Cream Skincare products included. I am sadden to see that the products do not include some of their amazing actual skincare products, but on the other hand, I do think it is great that they’ve included some newer launches and did not include the same products as last year. Still, I do have mixed feelings about this. Their skincare products are surprisingly good and I truly enjoyed using their products for the past year Their cream cleanser for example is the nicest cream cleanser I ever tried. It is super nourishing and leaves the skin soft, clean and hydrated – it is like you applied a moisturiser rather than cleansed your face.
One last thing before I end this post is one aspect that could not go unmentioned. Once again, Oh My Cream did not come out with a traditional advent calendar. Even SkinCity changed their format this year and yet Oh My Cream decided to go with a gift box rather than a drawer type of box. Personally, I do like this idea as that makes the calendar box more reusable and sustainable which is in line with the retailer’s mission.
Personally, I am going to skip this calendar in 2021 as I already have more than enough products to get through and these clean beauty products usually have shorter shelf life and even shorter usage life (aka last less once opened compared to other products). However, the calendar is a nice option, especially for those who are clean beauty fans.
What do you think of the Oh My Cream beauty advent calendar?
