While I sort of like the idea behind this beauty kit even though I do have to say that I do not really agree with the “New Year, New You” mentality. However, a bit of pampering and self-care in a kit sort of thing is usually needed after several busy weeks spent with family and relatives we might or might not get along with all that great. Dodging all sorts of uncomfortable questions does take its toll on one’s body and mental health so a bit of self-care does not hurt. Of course, we all see self-care as being different things, but if this sort of pampering is your jam then you might enjoy this beauty kit.
In terms of products, I cannot say that I spotted anything, particularly eye-grabbing. Why do I feel like my previous sentence does not make any sense? I hope you get what I mean either way. But if not, what I meant to that is that none of the products included in this Happy New You beauty kit from Liberty caught my attention. I feel like we are getting pretty much the same things as we got last year from Liberty which is a bit disappointing. While these particular products we can see in this kit are not one we have seen before, at least not together, the brands are a “classic” for liberty by now which is great on one hand, but less exciting on the other.
Personally, I cannot provide any comments on the products as I haven’t really tried them before, but the brands are well known and reputable. Also, Liberty is very selective when it comes to the brand it carries and which products from the said brands it showcases in their store.
I am going to skip this one but thought that maybe some of you might find it more appealing. I do hope that Liberty will step up their game this year though, but it remains to be seen.
