The Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops is an amazing skincare product that can help to improve skin tone. To use, start with clean and dry skin.

My experience with the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops
I recently tried out the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops after reciting the product inside the Cult Beauty Advent Calendar 2022 edition. I have to say that it was an amazing experience, but perhaps not in the way you wish to hear.
Over the years, I had lots of issues with acne in different forms and niacinamide ended up being the only ingredient that truly helped me. As such, I tried several products that contain this ingredient. However, none of them have the type of texture that the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops does.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops is a product that has, as mentioned above, a very milky texture. Most serums with this key ingredient have a more watery texture which may feel sticky at times. I was pleasantly surprised by this texture and now wish more products would have a similar texture. The texture alone might make this product suitable for those of you that have not enjoyed using Niacinamide in the past. Plus, in this formulation, the product seems a bit more gentle on the skin.
I have a lot of trouble with redness around my nose area, but I found that after only a few uses of the product, I was already seeing drastic results in calming down the inflammation. As someone who has patches of sensitive skin, I was worried at times that the ingredients would irritate me further, but as it turns out, this formula is specifically tailored towards those of us with sensitivities or acne-prone skin and it really shows.
The lightweight texture also made application so easy – two pumps can provide enough coverage for my whole face!
However, in terms of results actually expected from products with such ingredients as this one, well, I do not believe this is the best Niacinamide serum out there. This seems more like a maintenance product or one suitable for those with more sensitive skin rather than an intensive treatment option. That is fine though, such products are also needed.
After taking the time to analyze several aspects of the product, my final verdict is that it is indeed worth purchasing, but mostly only if you have sensitive skin or hate the texture of regular Niacinamide serums. The product has proven to be reliable and but it does not provides the best value for the cost compared to similar alternatives. With all things considered, I do sort of recommend buying this product due to its overall reliability. However, I do not believe that this is a product most people actually need. There are £5 alternatives out there that works better, but it does come down to personal preferences and skin needs.
Overall, I found the product to be effective and easy to use. It delivered on its promises in terms of results, at leats to some extent, and I would recommend it to those with more snenitve skin that have not gotten along with cheaper alternatives.

Thank you for the review! I’m looking forward to this one because The Ordinary Zinc + Niacinamide didn’t do much for me
In that case you might enjoy this one. The Ordinary one saved my skin which is not something I say lightly not often about the brand
I had super high hopes and can’t say it didn’t do anything but I expected way more. Looking forward to Glow Recipe. I have a toner from the same series, so maybe the two cosmetics will boost each other.
Yes, maybe. However it is a never a good thing when a product from a brand works better in conjunction with another products from the same brand. I mean, not really. A product should be effective in its own. With that being said, it might actually work on you better than it did on me particularly if you disliked the Ordinary one. We are all different so… please do keep me posted 🙂
Also what did you expect the niacinamide serum to do?
The Ordinary Zinc + Niacinamide is supposed to be an anti-blemish serum so I was hoping it would help me git of rid of the blemishes I got after an unfortunate kobido (the first time I had it in that parlour was great but the second time something must’ve not been cleaned well and I ended up with the lower part of my face and part of the neck covered in a ton of blemishes). After 5 months my face is still not OK, although significantly better, of course, but I’ve had a number of Cleansing facials, etc
Oh now! I am so sorry to hear that. Things like that should never happen at a saloon. Hmm, that is the reason I started using the serum as well. While I was in London I started getting blemishes which I did not have before, not during the whole “hormonal” changes phase during my teenage years. I felt like it helped quite a lot. I always considered the serum to be what finally got my skin under control. Of course we all have different skin types and needs so who knows? Now, I am really curious to hear what you think of this serum from Glow Recipe though 🙂 hope this one works for you. My absolute favourite one now is the Revox B77 one though. Not sure if you are familiar with it or with the brand. It is a super affordable brand like The Ordinary but I have mostly seen their products in continual and specifically Eastern Europe
