While personally I have seen visible improvements in my skin’s radiance and texture with this product, it’s important to note that individual results may vary. The essence has an amazing lightweight formula and ease of absorption. However, it’s worth mentioning that the price point of this product may be considered high compared to other brightening essences on the market so seeing it included here is a very welcomed surprise. 

The Aromatherapy Associates Bath and Shower Oil is a truly luxurious product that has added an extra element of relaxation to my self-care routine. The scent is absolutely divine, and it creates a soothing and calming atmosphere in both the bath and shower. The oil itself is incredibly nourishing and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I appreciate the fact that a little goes a long way, making it a cost-effective option despite its higher price point. My only minor qualm is that the packaging can be a bit tricky to handle in a wet environment. Overall, I highly recommend the Aromatherapy Associates Bath and Shower Oil for anyone looking to elevate their bathing experience with a touch of indulgence and relaxation.

The Augustinus Bader Rich Cream is a true game-changer in the world of skincare. This luxurious cream delivers exceptional hydration and nourishment, leaving my skin feeling ok, but my godmother’s skin feeling incredibly soft and supple. I never thought that skincare could change someone’s appearance so much! The rich and velvety texture is a delight to apply, and a little goes a long way, especially fi you have a combinational or oily complexion. Not only does it provide intense moisture, but it also helps improve the overall appearance of the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I have noticed a visible improvement in my complexion, with a noticeable glow and more even tone but like I said, my godmom’s skin was “wow”. It’s a product that despite not being super fond of personally, I do believe lives up to its hype. Be careful though as it tends to go bad rather fast so use it quick after opening it. 

BioEffect EGF Serum is a groundbreaking product that I’ve had the pleasure of using on several occasions. This award-winning serum, hailing from Iceland, harnesses the power of Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), a protein natural to human skin known to boost collagen and elastin production. With just a few drops, it deeply hydrates and rejuvenates the skin, diminishing fine lines and wrinkles while imparting a youthful radiance. Its potency is remarkable; you only need 2-4 drops for the entire face, making even a 5ml bottle surprisingly long-lasting. The formula is clean and pure, free from any harmful substances, and is hypoallergenic, making it suitable even for sensitive skin types. From my experience, I’ve noticed an improvement in overall skin texture and a visible reduction in signs of aging since I started using it. It is indeed a high-end investment but one that pays off with its impressive results.

The Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt has been a consistent presence in my beauty arsenal, and its unique features make it a standout product. This scrub is designed to cleanse, purify, and rebalance sensitive or oily scalps, and it does an admirable job of that. The star ingredient, sea salt, is a natural exfoliant that helps to remove impurities and promote healthier, more balanced hair.From the first use, you might notice your scalp feeling refreshed and less oily.

Over time, it can help reduce flakiness and build-up, leading to healthier and shinier hair. The texture is grainy yet easy to work into the scalp, and it lathers up surprisingly well for a scrub. The scent is pleasant and spa-like, adding to the overall luxurious experience.However, there are a few points that might be worth considering.

First, the scrub can be a bit harsh on very sensitive scalps, and may cause some initial discomfort. Therefore, it’s recommended to use it sparingly and gently at first, especially if you have a sensitive scalp. Second, due to its high concentration of sea salt, it can be slightly drying on the hair, so following up with a hydrating conditioner or mask is advisable. 

The Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum is a product that I appreciate for its quality and efficacy, but with reservations about its cost. This serum offers a lightweight, non-sticky texture that absorbs quickly into the skin, providing a sense of instant nourishment. The long-term benefits are noticeable, particularly in terms of hydration and rejuvenation. However, the price point is steep, and may not be accessible for all potential users. While the serum delivers on its promises, I believe it’s essential to weigh the benefits against the considerable investment it requires, if you were to purchase it separately that is. 

The Gisou Honey Infused Shampoo is a unique product that has its strengths and weaknesses. On one hand, its honey-infused formula offers a delightful scent that makes each wash a truly aromatic experience. It leaves my hair smelling fresh and enchanting throughout the day. However, the thick texture of the shampoo can be a challenge to work with. It’s considerably denser than typical shampoos, which necessitates the addition of water to make it easier to apply and distribute evenly through the hair. Despite this minor inconvenience, the shampoo’s overall performance and enchanting fragrance make it a product worth considering for those who don’t mind putting in a little extra effort during their hair care routine.

The NARS Afterglow Lip Balm is a delightful addition to any makeup routine, providing a sheer, radiant tint that enhances the lips’ natural color. Its texture might feel somewhat firm initially, but it beautifully melts onto the lips, offering an impressive hydrating effect. This is a game-changer product in my opinion and one that is very useful to have on hand. It is easy to apply and does not require “maintenance” so to speak but it looks absolutely amazing on. 

And there you have it. These are my comment son the products from the calendar that I did try and have some experience with.

You’re getting a bit of everything – skincare, makeup, haircare – like a beauty potluck! It’s like having a mini Harrods beauty hall right in your living room.

But hey, let’s be real here. We’ve all had those “one-size-does-not-fit-all” moments with beauty products. So, before you dive in headfirst into this beauty smorgasbord, just remember: what works for some might not work for you. You might find a couple of products that don’t play nice with your skin type or sensitivities. And sure, those mini-sizes are cute and all, but they’re like the free samples at the supermarket – great for a taste, but not enough to really savor. Still, some will show you whether a full size product is worth the investment so that is also valuable for any beauty aficionado IMO. 

So, is the Harrods advent calendar worth it? If you’re into playing beauty roulette and love the thrill of trying new high-end products, then heck yeah, go for it!
