Selfridges The Clarifying Skincare Kit Beauty Bundle Comments
This beauty bundle is meticulously curated to cater to a wide range of skincare needs, bringing together prominent brands and their coveted products. Below is a detailed breakdown of some key items from the bundle and an overall assessment of the kit.
- Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution (15ml): This serum comes with the promise of fading dark spots and acne scars, and it doesn’t disappoint. With consistent use, a noticeable difference in the evenness and clarity of the skin is evident. Its lightweight formula is a plus, making it suitable for day-to-day wear.
- Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant (30ml): A standout product in the kit! It effortlessly unclogs pores, smoothes wrinkles, and brightens the skin. The gentle exfoliation it provides is ideal for daily use without causing any irritation. At least in theory. In practice I have not noticed all that great of an improvement personally so I truly do not get the cult following of this one.
- Dr.Jart+ Cicapair™ Tiger Grass Colour Correcting Treatment (5ml): A little goes a long way with this product. It’s excellent for neutralizing redness and offers a subtle, natural coverage. It could be a boon for those with sensitive or irritated skin. This was one of my favorite finds of last year even though the thick cover up feeling it gives after a few hours of use – a mask like feeling – is not my favorite. Still, it is a game changer and you can say goodbye to foundation. This is more like a foundation product than a cream actually. It even comes off in a foundation like shade which adapted perfectly to your skin. Do recommend giving it a go.
- The Inkey List Salicylic Acid Cleanser (150ml): A competent cleanser that helps in combating acne and blemishes. It leaves the skin feeling clean and refreshed without drying it out too much that is.
- Murad Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30 (50ml): A dual-purpose moisturizer that hydrates the skin while providing “necessary” sun protection – better than nothing! It’s lightweight and doesn’t leave a white cast, making it a good choice for daily wear. Truly perfect for those who hate SPF or often forget to apply it.
The rest of the products, including REN’s serum, Dermalogica’s cream, Caudalie’s spot solution, Rodial’s cleansing pads, and Eve Lom’s mask, complement the aforementioned products well, creating a comprehensive skincare routine targeting various skin concerns.
The Selfridges’ Clarifying Skincare Kit is indeed a beauty investment worth considering. The bundle offers a well-rounded skincare regime with products from reputable brands addressing common skin issues like dark spots, redness, and blemishes. If budget permits, investing in this bundle could be a delightful way to explore high-end skincare products and find what suits your skin the best. Overall, it’s a thumbs up from me, especially if you are on the lookout for some skincare game-changers.
