Comments

The Cult Beauty Hair Repair Edit offers an impressive, curated selection of products designed to target damage, restore health, and boost moisture for hair in need of repair. This set is a well-balanced mix of cult-favorites and emerging products, making it appealing for anyone looking to revitalize their hair. Here’s an overview of some standout products in the edit, along with insights from personal experience:

OLAPLEX No.3 Hair Perfector

OLAPLEX No. 3 is a game-changer for damaged hair. The patented bond-building technology is a favorite among hairstylists and users alike. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the strength and texture of my hair after using it consistently. It’s especially useful for those with chemically treated or heat-damaged hair, making it a hero product in this edit.

Living Proof Restore Shampoo & Living Proof Restore Conditioner

The Living Proof Restore range is well-known for its ability to repair damaged hair and prevent further damage. The shampoo is sulfate-free but still manages to cleanse thoroughly without stripping the hair, which I found perfect for maintaining hydration. The conditioner complements the shampoo by adding softness and manageability, but in my opinion, it doesn’t give the same deep hydration as a mask would. It’s a good combo for daily use, but I prefer alternating with a more intensive treatment.

Briogeo Superfoods Avocado + Kiwi Mega Moisture Mask

This mask is packed with nourishing ingredients like avocado and kiwi, providing a natural and effective moisture boost. It’s lightweight but deeply hydrating, making it a fantastic option for adding moisture without leaving hair greasy. I find it especially useful for fine or medium hair types that want moisture without heaviness.

Philip Kingsley Bond Builder Split End Remedy

This is a standout for anyone struggling with split ends or breakage. The lightweight formula seals the ends and prevents further damage. I love how it smooths the ends of my hair without feeling sticky or heavy. It’s great for adding a polished finish, especially when used before styling.

Final Thoughts

The Hair Repair Edit is a fantastic value, offering both full-size and deluxe travel sizes of premium products. From the highly effective OLAPLEX treatment to the luxurious Oribe masque, the variety allows for a comprehensive approach to hair repair. Whether you have mild dryness or severe damage, this edit addresses a wide range of needs. The inclusion of both moisturizing and bond-repair products makes it well-rounded, ensuring your hair feels nourished, stronger, and healthier after consistent use.

Highly recommended for anyone looking to treat or maintain healthy, damage-free hair!

  1. I’d go for this half a year from now. I still have a good hair routine that will last me several months, but these products are a very nice selection. On the other hand I think I’ll try the advice from Blowout Professor, a recommended shampoo, conditioner, a post wash spray and a hair oil. Although everything in this set could fit the routine, albeit except for Olaplex no. 3 these are not the recommendations for my type of hair. I’ve got fine hair (I’ve got a lot of it but it’s very thin and acts accordingly), so for me it’s Redken Volume Injection shampoo + conditioner, Pureology Color Fanatic Leave In Conditioner for the post wash spray and Olaplex hair oil. Olaplex no. 3 for damaged hair. I now have a Philip Kingsley set, with a 1000 ml conditioner bottle that will last a while.
I actually have never paid attention when I used Olaplex or Elasticizer so I can’t tell the difference.

    1. good tips! will try to remember for when my hair is back to normal. I also have rather fine hair but now I am more focused on not loosing more than I already have, not that it was terribly full before. Good tips though! I am curious to see how my hair would behave. As for the PK conditioner, it might last you a while, but mine for example changed texture before I managed to finish it. Hopefully you will go through it faster than I have. The products are lovely though and the brand is pretty amazing so it was disappointing to see it change texture before finishing it up. Truly hope it won’t happen to you as well.
