While I cannot comments of each and every one of these products as I have only tried some of them, I have tried something from every brand and the products were pretty incredible. Usually, the things I find at Liberty fit that description and that is due to their highly selective process of curation when it comes to the products they sell.
Whether this is true or not, I do not know, but I always felt like Liberty is considerably more picky when it comes to the products they sell than other department store which is why they have a slightly more limited range. It does have that boutique air, does it not? Regardless, they products never disappointed me and their beauty gifts are always a pleasant surprise.

Overall, I believe this is a good gift and it is a great opportunity to get your hands on some luxury beauty products while getting a great deal for your money. Like I said above, I will skip it this time but it has nothing to do with the products inside but more to the fact that I am not in the UK at this time. I love the previous edition and I still enjoy the products I got then and I was really excited about this new gift. Even if I cannot have it, I hope you can!

Is it me or the gifts from Liberty and Harvey Nichols this spring are less exciting than last autumn? Last year I saw them and immediately wanted them in my possesion, while this year I’m passing without regret. Actually items in my wishlists feel more exciting than any item in the GWPs.
On a separate note, how is it going, Nana? I missed yoy!
Oooh, thank you! Trying to make it work. It has been more difficult to post since I have gone home, but hanging in there. How about you? About the gifts. Yeah, you are right but that is usually how it goes. From why I observed the autumn ones are usually the biggest gifts. This year however, there is added stress and lack of resources in the mix I guess.
Since I can work from home my everyday life is impacted only to a small degree but I’m worried about the overall situation. Now more than ever I try to focus on and enjoy little things in life, a ginormous post-Christmas beauty stash helps 😉 I think I’ve never been so dilligent with my routines.
Glad to hear there is something to wait for, by autumn my stash will have emptied. And then there is the advent calendar splurge.
Surprisingly I got this winter’s Cult Beauty gift. The value was nothing impressive compared to Liberty and Harvey, but it had stuff I really wanted to try like the new F-Balm from Drunk Elephant and Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips 2 mini lipstick in the shade I was interested in but not buy a fullbsize because I never finish a full size lip product.
Hang in there, Nana. Lots of love!
Glad to hear that you are doing well. I was tempted by the CB one as well and strangely enough for the same reasons. CB though might have interesting products in their goody bags and products we are more likely to buy on the ordinary, but their gifts don’t have the same impact those from HN and Liberty have. Give and take…
I miss working from home! I am really glad that I got this opportunity now, but wish it were under different circumstances. My routines are all out of sorts but that has more to do with my OCD and the fact that my parents are ICU doctors which stressed me out more than anything else. Trying to go back to my routines though and even though I might not post now I will try to get back on track and have stuff scheduled for after this madness ends so stay tuned! I look forward to sharing more reviews of the stuff I am currently trying.
