I am back again with a new review. This time we are going to be talking about the Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Essence. This is a product that was included in the Oh My Cream Beauty Advent Calendar in 2020.
Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Essence
Let’s start with the beginning, shall we? What exactly is this Hydrating Floral Essence from Tata Harper? The Tata Harper Floral Essence is a hydrating mist which was formulated with Hyaluronic Acid. No rocket science involved, just a fancier name.
Now I do not know about the full sized product, but the mini that I have does not create the finer of mists. It is not too bad, but it is not super fine either. However, I do not mind. Perhaps the full sized product is different as the mechanism of the pump undoubtedly differs, but I am just putting it out there as there is a chance that the full sized product does not create a super fine mist either. Just so you know.
Okay, I am going to be honest (as usual) and tell you that I was super reluctant to even try the product. I like Tata Harper just fine, but I never loved any of the products I tried. They are good, but there has not been a single product that I become obsessed with and had to repurchase, at least not until now. Furthermore, I purchased or tried so many facial mists and there have not been many that impressed me. I tried it anyway, obviously and here are my thoughts.
The Tata Harper Hydrating Facial Essence is a product you apply after cleaning your face rather than the final step in your skincare routine. You could apply it at the end as well, but you must apply it after cleansing if you plan on using it and getting the most out of it. Why? From the 10-15 tines I got to use it, I noticed that this product made a significant difference to my routine. Despite the mist format, it does indeed act as an essence in the way that it helps your other products work harder. My serums and moisturiser absorb better and overall my skin feel even more hydrated than usual.
A reason why this facial essence from Tata Harper makes your skin feel ore hydrated both on its own (to a lesser extent) and in particular with other products is due to the hyaluronic acid that it contains. Of course, the formula does play a role, but that should go without saying. I cannot live without my HA!
In terms of fragrance, the product does have a faint fragrance, but it smells natural and a tiny bit floral. It is not overpowering nor obnoxious. I would not say that I am obsessed with it, but it does not bother me either.
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this mist from Tata Harper and I am seriously considering purchasing a full sized version of it. I recommend it!
