I’m definitely excited about this new edit containing 3 full-size products, as well as getting a few trial and travel-sized items. The biggest draw for me is the Medik8 Illuminating Eye Balm which I have been itching to try. This has yet to be featured in other Cult Beauty Edit sets so it’s good to see this included here. Medik8 is an interesting brand and heard so many good things about it, but despite having tried a few products from them, I am yet to be convinced. Getting to try one of their products I have not come across before is something that raises my interest in one such offer.
I have not tried any of the products in this kit with the exception of the Omorovicza Cleansing Foam. The Omorovicza Cleansing Foam is a very interesting product with results similar to K-beauty products from this category. It even resembles K-beauty cleaning foams in terms of texture. It is a light and creamy foam cleanser. I am not obsessed with cleansing foams truth be told, but this one feels quite nice and the level of foam is acceptable. I am more than willing to look past it as the results are quite amazing. Say goodbye to blackheads! However, while the Omorovicza Cleansing Foam does a great job at removing impurities and leaving the skin looking super clean, it is not the most hydrating cleanser and can feel a tad stripping. Those with dry or sensitive skin might not love it as much as I have, but I would still suggest giving it a go/ patch test it and see how it feels.
As mentioned above, I have not tried the rest of the products but I am incredibly happy to see Versed included in this kit. Versed is such an interesting brand and I love their no-nonsense approach to beauty. The products while “similar” to those from other brands in terms of variety feel somehow lighter as they have a shorter list of ingredients. You see, Versed does not include the ingredients you do not need. At least that is their philosophy. It has yet to disappoint me so far, but I have not tried every single one of their products – case in point.
Another brand I am happy to see included here is Disciple. Disciple is the brand that got me into using retinol and realizing the potential of retinol, but also the brand that introduced me to face oils that I can actually enjoy. I love how lightweight and non-greasy their face oils are, plus the amazing thing about them is that they take care of several skin issues at once. I totally recommend checking out Disciple if you have not done so already. The brand has worked wonders for me. This kit allows you to get started on this discovery journey.
That is about it when it comes to my comments on the products included in this new beauty edit from Cult Beauty.
Honestly, it doesn’t get much better than this – three full size products plus six travel sizes for less than £50. With such incredible savings on offer, you won’t want to miss out on this deal.
