  1. What a nice change that the Nars blush is in a different shade than ‘ Orgasm’!
I liked last year’s offer, this year’s doesn’t appeal to me much. I’m really curious about Balmain hair products but leave-in conditioners are something I avoid.
Ah, sadly De Bijenkorf now operates only in Belgium and the Netherlands and stopped international shipping earlier this year. So its good I’m not that hyped by this year’s offer.

    1. Why do you avoid leave in? I was just about to research them as I have been listening to a local hair stylist go on about them as compared to using other products such as oils and then frying your hair…

  2. I don’t like to have any residue on my hair. So far I’ve tried 4 or 5 different leave- in conditioners, and none of them improved my hair condition but left a residue, even if I was frugal, I still got sticky hair.
I don’t style my hair and rarely use a hair dryer. I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this already, my hair texture wise is thin but it’s very thick, so I have a lot of thin hairs that need a lot of product to be evenly distributed so using the leave-in conditioner was also a drag to ensure I didn’t put too much but I covered my hair somewhat evenly in the product.
I’ve started to use oil but so far only Morrocanoil had effects. Briogeo does nothing for me, neither did Inkey list. I think Virtue was OK, but nothing to write home about, especially when after Morrocanoil I really saw a difference.
I’m also using Aveda serum that’s sort of like a leave-in conditioner but it’s not in spray. I apply it with my hands and it doesn’t leave any stickiness or residue, but I am yet to see results.
Philip Kingsley has ‘Elasti-styler’ that may be the answer to the problem that hair stylist mentioned. I had a tube but gave it away because I so rarely do anything with my hair, so I can’t tell if it does a good job. I don’t even remember if I saw effects after Elasticizer which I had some time ago but I think I wasn’t very diligent.
Now I’ve started Olaplex 0 + 3 and I intend to do it regularly once a week, so I should be able to tell if it works for me or not.
