Cult Beauty: The Founders Goody Bag

The much awaited day is finally here. I have been looking forward to a new goody bag from Cult Beauty ever since February 1st, but better late than never. When I saw the email, I was so excited and wanted to tell you all about it ASAP. I have to admit that I got sidetracked as I could not decide which goodies to include in my order. It has been while since I placed a huge order at Cult Beauty and there have been so many new releases since then. You will be able to see at the end of this article which goodies I decided to go for, but first let’s discuss the content of the Founders Goody Bag first.

Founders Goody Bag Contents

Milk Makeup Blur Stick 3g – I actually had the pleasure of trying this one from the gift with purchase on my Milk Order and I have yet to make up my mind whether I like it or not. It is definitely something way different than what I am used to.

Dr Dennis Gross Skincare – Deluxe Hyaluronic Marine Hydration Boost 3ml – I love the range, but I haven’t tried this exact product so I cannot tell you more. But, Dr Dennis Gross has some pretty amazing products in general and I haven’t been let down so far.

IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara 4.5ml – I am not a huge fan of mascaras so I am not overly excited about this product, but I will definitely try it out for you once it gets here. I wanted to try the brand for so long, but the few samples I had were not a good fit for me so I gave them away before I had the chance to try them out. This is also not how I wanted to begin my journey with IT Cosmetics, but oh well…

Virtue Deluxe Restorative Treatment Mask 15ml – This is a first, well not really, but I haven’t heard of this brand before. It seems that it is quite a new addition to the Cult Beauty family, but they do carry quite a few products from the brand.

Nurse Jamie Miracle Base Beauty Oil 14.7ml – I am looking forward to trying this one out, I actually almost placed it in basket before I realised that it was part of the offer.

Too Faced Deluxe Hangover Primer 5g – This is so not the type of primer I usually go for, but I tried it last year as I included it in my March Goody Bag order in 2018 and I loved it! My foundation looked amazing on top of this so I am so excited to get a new one.

Dr Roebuck’s Deluxe No Worries Hydrating Face Moisturiser 15ml – I love the name and the packing of the products from this brand, but I have to admit that I did not get along so nicely with this specific product. I will try it again before I review it once and for all, but I don’t have high expectations.

Shiseido Modern Matte Powder Lipstick in Exotic Red 2.5g – I am so looking forward to try out this one. Shiseido is the brand that introduced me to lipstick. Before that I only tried a few cheap ones and was so disappointed. I was still in my early teens when I got a sample of a Shiseido lipstick and that is when my love affair with the products first began.

Dr Barbara Sturm Deluxe Hyaluronic Acid 10ml – Heard so many things about the brand, but I haven’t tried it so looking forward to doing just that.

Disciple Deluxe Dreamy Skin Retinyl Oil 10 ml – I already have around 20ml or 40ml or the product, in fact I just used it yesterday, but it is not the one product from the brand that I tend reach for. The oil is great and it leaves my skin looking very pretty, but I prefer the Good Skin Oil to this one.

Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-Exfoliating Shampoo 30ml – I kinda liked other products from the range so I am looking forward to trying out this one as well.

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask – this is an iconic product that is also an Instagram favourite. I am also pretty fond of it and its versatility. You can achieve great results with this one in many ways. My favourite way is to use it as a primer.

Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask 15ml – I have been meaning to try this one for so long so I am excited that I will finally be given the chance. I will keep you updated!

Omorovicza Daily Vitamin C 5ml – Never actually seen this product before so I am of course intrigued. I love the brand and loved every single one of the 15 products I tried from them so far. It never let me down, not once!

Iconic London Illuminator in original 4.5ml – Heard many things about the brand, but never actually got the chance to try it out myself. I have been meaning to, you have no idea how many times it almost made its way into my shopping cart..

frank body Cacao Coffee Scrub 200g – This is such a popular scrub that I am curious to try it. They usually did not work for me that well because of the fragrance, but hopefully this one from frank body will.

Kat Burki Vitamin C Intensive Face Cream 7ml – I wish I could tell you more about this product, but I haven’t tried it. I have a family of samples form the brand, but I don’t tend to reach for them for some reason. I just might get onto doing that soon.

Jo Loves Votive Candle 70g – I am curious to try out this one. I love Jo Malone, in fact I love her work so much that I own around 15 fragrances from her main brand. However, I found it difficult to like any of her Jo Loves products that I tried in store. Maybe this time will be different.

Goldfaden MD Deluxe Bright Eyes 5ml – You heard it before. A product that I actually do own, but haven’t tried. Oh boy, I really have a shopping addiction problem…

Venefect Anti-Aging Lip Treatment 3ml – This is intriguing. I started taking more care of my lips recently so any lip treatment is welcomed. I have products from the brand, but haven’t tried them yet or have I? Hmm, I might have tried a face scrub that I liked once, but not sure. Need to revisit my notes.

Algenist Genius Liquid Collagen 3.7ml – This is such an amazing product! I love the feel of it on my face, but it has such a weird structure that you need to get used to it. I am glad to see it included as it is both effective, but also something you need to try before you purchase due to its strange feel.

Sonya Dakar Rose Godlier Radiance Mask 0.5oz – Very intrigued about this product.

last, but not least there is a 15GBP voucher included with every Founders Goody Bag.

According to Cult Beauty, the Founders Goody Bag is worth over 350 GBP and it is yours for FREE when you spend 175GBP.

Overall, I think that the Founders Goody Bag is pretty nice and it includes a variety of products. From this aspect, I could say that the goody bag is pretty much balanced. The brands are some that we haven’t seen before in Cult Beauty Goody Bags so for that I am grateful. I wish they would have included full sized products, but the quantities should be enough to get a good feel of the products.

Some Product Suggestions aka my Order

As promised, here is the content of my own order in case you are not sure what to get.

I chose a product from Joanna Vargas as I never tried the brand and this one was the one I have the most use for at the moment. I haven’t heard of the brand until recently so I was curious.

Then I chose a CBD oil from Disciple. I love Disciple and their products so I decided to give their CBD oil a try as I trust the brand. There are so many CBD oils out there that I have no idea which ones to trust.

The next product is the Overtime Mask from Summer Fridays. I have seen this one around for a while now and just as its sister which is include din the Goody Bag, the Overtime Mask was pretty popular online. I am curious to try it out myself, but a bit sad that I did not find the third mask the brand came out with. Hopefully, Cult Beauty will stock it in the near future.

Next we have the Orgasm Lip Balm from Nars. I wanted this thing ever since it first came out, but each time I decided to get it it was sold out on the websites I was looking for it. It will finally be mine.

Then we have the Littles from Drunk Elephant. I have’t tried any of them since they were released in the UK. I was about to, but I thought they were too pricey. Luckily I waited as their price went down significantly.

The next item is of course the Founders Goody Bag.

Th least addition to my shopping bag is the Kiki Health Activated Charcoal Powder. I had a few things to drink and eat with activated charcoal in them and I fell in love! I have been having issues with my stomach and this thing made me feel much better. Hopefully, the powder I purchased will have the same effect.

As you can see, there aren’t many products needed to reach the minimum spend. In fact, I actually spent a bit more than the minimum required but luckily, not by much. There were a few other things that I considered getting such as the #thisiseverything lip scrub as I loved the balm. I also considered the new Pixi by Petra products, but the ones I wanted were out of stock.

Another thing that you probably noticed is the lack of Milk Makeup products in my order. I was looking forward to the Goody Bag so that I could splurge on Milk makeup, but I changed my mind. You will find the reason really soon. You were supposed to find out why today, but I thought this was more important to share. Stay tuned as the Milk makeup reviews will follow.
