Zarrine x Tonic15 Garden of Skincare Set

Today has been interesting. I managed to go shopping, attend an online wedding and now I am here. Okay, I also spent some time organising my Stabilo Boss Highlighers (super gorgeous set!). I love how they come in a stand and how they look in their own stand, but it is black which kinda ruins my mojo. Instead, I decided to use a clear acrylic jewellery box to display them on my desk, but took the velvet trays out. Not sure how I feel about it, but it will do for now. Seriously, I have some weird problems. But now you know there is more to me than my beauty obsession. Anyway, now I am here and I totally had in mind to write a review. Have you checked the last one yet? However, as always, I got a bit sidetracked.

I received a DM on Instagram which made me remember that I haven’t checked my favourite UK source of Korean Beauty products – aka Tonic15 – in a while. I found that they released a new beauty box so thought I should tell you a bit about it instead. I really do not do it on purpose!

Speaking about Tonic15, if you’ve never shopped with them before, I shared a bit about my experience with them here. Also, since posting that article, it seems that they started shipping to other countries again. If you do not have a reputable source that offers authentic Korean beauty products locally, you might want to give it a go.

Okay, so let’s finally talk about what I intended to talk about today, well not intended, but you get what I mean. Today’s offer is one from Tonic15 and it is a beauty box created in collaboration with Zarrine.

Comments

I don’t have much experience trying the products included in this box so I cannot really comments on their effectiveness and/or quality, however I will share some thoughts regardless (based on what I do know).

The reason why this box caught my attention is the good mix of skincare products. There is no question about that. The three full sized products have been on my wishlist for a while now. In fact, I was incredibly upset when I discovered that the website stopped delivering to my country as I haven’t found any other retailer that sells Aromatica and that is one of the brands if not THE brand I want to try the most. They products look so beautiful and I am really curious whether the products are as good as they look or whether I will finally have something to go on a rather long rant about(like the Glossier ones). It has been a while…

You should already know that I am obsessed about all things Huxley and I’m From is a brand I haven’t yet tried, but planning on trying.

Sioris…Hmm, I honestly do not know what to tell you. I was curious to try this brand as well and I got quite a few items from them. I might just finish one of them this month and I still do not know. They seem okay and yet nothing incredible. They work and yet….They are definitely not the kind of products that can knock off my feet, you know? Maybe I made the wrong choices, or they simply do not work for me, but who knows? Okay, not work is too much as they kinda do [work] actually, but, I really do not know. I sound like a complete idiot right now, but unlike other times when it is super easy to decided whether something is in or not, I am stuck when it comes to this particular brand.

As for the Dr Ceurcale Ampoule, well first of all, the brand is pretty nice. Oh My. I can now hear a Norwegian (I believe it was) show running in the background. It is in my head though. I remember that the particular Christmas show from Netflix was on as we were supposedly watching it when I was actually taking pictures of the advent calendar from SkinCity. SkinCity is the reason I got to try this brand, but also the Royal Vita Propolis Ampoule. As far as first impressions go, I have to say that the ampoule is pretty alright.

Overall, I like this Garden of Skincare beauty box from Tonic15 x Zarrine. It is not the most impressive deal out there, but it is a good deal nonetheless, especially fi you were planning on getting the products on their own.
